It seems like they took that into consideration, since Cody’s normals are all slower. It’ll be considerably harder to stop a 3-frame button with only +2, but just being able to at least threaten low and throw should be a start. And when he has VT2, command grab enters the equation, too.

When you’re able to send blades out on merc missions, take advantage of it; you’ll need field skills at certain points in the game. That’s one major gripe people have with it, but if you keep doing Merc Missions it won’t be a problem (wasn’t for me my first time through for that reason).
Aside from that the game is pretty much standalone, you’ll learn as you go~
Expansion pass is full of stuff that are better left for when you beat the game, and the large chunk of the expansion (the extra story that looks like it could be its own game, even getting its own physical copy) isn’t until September. So I’d wait on that until you’ve beaten the game and feel that you enjoy it.

Akhos hit all the major points. I’ll just say this. If you are an older gamer. Xenoblade is like games used to be. The game has crap ton of content without any DLC. The DLC just adds icing on the cake. As for the September expansion, I would not touch it until you finish the main game. The story will carry more weight if you finish the main campaign first.

With all the shitstorm the actual top tiers are getting now, it’s hard to believe they will pass over the rebalance axe unscathed. Necalli is one of the characters right under them, still very versatile and mostly he never gets big nerfs since Season one, he’s alone here with Cammy. I appreciate the fact Capcom try to create an even field for SFV, but I think it’s impossible. Then when a new season started we gets just new overlords. It’s early now to talk about next season, but I need to give my 2 cents to reach 5,000 post asap.

So i saw some gameplay footage of DOA6.
I don’t know, they do these things where they super zoom in when a character is being hit in the face. Not sure that i really like seeing these pretty ladies getting punched in this close of a zoomed in shot.

I can’t stand the over the top gore of the Last of Us 2. I am feeling bad seeing the DOA women getting wrecked upclose. Am I just getting old and starting to really get sensitive to gore and just want to move past it ?

Apparently Cody’s Double Kick has so much invincibility (attack invincibility starts on frame 3) that it can stuff Ibuki out of her EX DP
Defense should be about as good as Birdie’s at this rate. Has a shit ton of neutral/block pressure based defensive options. If he’s on his ass it will be some problems, but not totally out of luck. It builds him crazy v gauge for how tough it is to punish so as long as you dont use 90 of them in 5 seconds you can get trigger quick.
