Yeah those are fun punish combos with her VT1. VT1 isn’t good for tournaments though so pretty much casual/training mode stuff. By the time you realistically get VT1 now you’re almost dead and VT2 is much more neutrally powerful and faster start up.
Yeah it depends on whether he ends up like Rog or Laura where he has the offense and mid range to make up for the weaker defense or if he ends up like Vega or Alex where it cripples him. His fireball looks like the most legit fireball in the game next to Guile’s though so at minimum he’ll be able to cover the mid range pretty well. It’s said that you can’t neutral jump his fireball because it’s slow and he can just move up to you and AA you. Which with how good his AA options are its going to be nearly as tough as dealing with Menat/Guile/Falke to jump forward at him also.
He definitely looks like he has the tools in close and neutral to make it work and be tournament relevant, just a matter of whether the crippling defense keeps him out of top 10 contention. Even a 3 frame is what saved Bipson/Laura/Boxer. Cody holding everything with only 4 frame button, but still have to see how the V Skill works with the frame 3 invince.

Jeah at this point I think it’s obvious Capcom doesn’t care what the competition is doing. For better or worse they’re doing their own thing, at their own pace.
Expecting some kinda huge changeup to how SFV delivers their content seems kinda silly imo

Capcom need to step up his game just to give to the SFV players the better experience possible, they don’t need to care about the others companies. One year ago when DBFZ was announced most of the people here said they were ready to leave SFV once and for all, now they’re all on Cody’s jock.
We can all play multiple games anyway, probably I will give Fighting Layer EX a try, but I don’t consider to stop playing SFV.

Yeah, I’ve just saw a video of an EU Ryu who said he’s quitting the game for now because of the online experience. That’s strange because the same online was even worse in Season 1, but Ryu was better there. He’s going to backpedaling like Stephen A. Smith hairline if Capcom drops some buffs to his posterboy.

yeah i saw that too, dudes acting like hes Famous enough to make capcom step up their online why is it that everyone acts like were gonna get perfect online? What fighting game has ever had good netcode in the U.S? makes you wonder what wouldve capcom done if daigo/tokido/infiltration quit the game cause of the netcode?
