Well using FGC math, since Jin took a game off NuckleDu and you took a game off of Jin. That means you took a game off NuckleDu
Checks out. Give āim the 2016 Capcom Cup.
Aris who is into Tekken liked MK9 a lot.
Just unlocked Mikaās Monster Hunter armor. Really great costume, will definitely play her some more now. Costume code removes the bow and quiver from her back and her alternate colours give her some different hair colours like red, ginger, black or purple.

Never used imgur before so hope that works.
Yes, muscle spirit remains strong!
And for it to prevail, I will do all the squats, all the deadlifts, all the planks and row till my arms falter today!
MK9 for sureā¦ even though the game is dated if youāre looking for comp. Only issue youād also come up with is the questionable balance of the game. Kabal and Cyrax were always around the corner to rob the game, so be prepared for Legends of the Hidden Temple Kabal and Reset City Cyrax meta. Reason for preference? Movement.
In all other NRS games post-MK9, movement is very linear and has a refined risk/autopilot effectā¦ to the point that it could not form a proper passive style (maybe passive defensive but itās way too risky with how good jumps are in NRS games). MK9 actually had the mechanic to cancel dashes into moves, block, and the likeā¦ and if you watch some matches, youāll notice people will do ādash block dash blockā movement since it gives really fast position control in sacrifice of having hangtime from the block animation (which lasts a short period of time).
AAing in MK9 isnāt as rough as modern NRS games (itās still good, but not too powerful). Characters like Ermac can use telekinetic grab at many ranges and has dominant screen control, and Cyrax had one of the better āconsistentā AAs with his anti-air grab special. Since there is also no cooldown for dash-block wavedash, itās also concerning when to pick the right spot to jump due to that technique. Many variables to consider that modern NRS games donāt really consider in their meta.
EDIT: Oh yes, another gripe. The game has āluckā factor due to the P1 > P2 hit trade priority system (two characters traded an attack? Player one wins always! Fairā¦), and some stages are long/short/mid. Definitely the worst thing about MK9 is the trade priority oversight.
Went even yesterday online, which Iāll take because Iām still sort of surprised Iām in Gold.
Trying to break bad habits and not build new ones. I really need to work on my patience against keepaway players. I try to force the engagement too much and get beat up, then by the time I get there Iām frazzled so I often fuck up and let them out of the corner (also just need to work on Lauraās pressure in general).
The Guile army is very real and all of those fuckers are using Knife Edge. Which at this level I can live with because it usually means theyāll throw one or two ill advised Flash Kicks.
I also need more Ibuki experience. I got straight murdered by the one I ran into.
I do appreciate how the game usually feeds me an awkward, unsure player at the end of a session to allow me to end on a high note.
Next time I might try random battle lounges instead of Casual. The sort of frustrating thing is running into a player that encapsulates what Iām having problems with, only to get 2 (3 if Iām lucky) games against them. They may dip after 3 in BL but at least Iād get 3, and if Iām lucky theyāll stick around and I can try to learn more. Of course that is assuming I get players at all and they arenāt all from Central America.
Final Round/CPT premiere viewership up 47% from last year. Dead game.
Why are you pushing this dead game?
OMG IN LIFE THERES STILL HOPE!
FU GUILE! This guy always 0-5s me, like every time. I was like enough Is enough and hit the lab. Barely scraped it out but win still a win
Honestly surprised at those numbers, I donāt enjoy watching this game at all. Good for them I suppose.
Eh weāll see how it goes throughout the year. AE is a new version with a lot of new things so it only makes sense the first premiere would get a lot of viewership. Season 2 was just balance changes and not much added to the game.
I think more people enjoy watching SFV than playing it because it is easy on the eyes, easy to follow, and strikingly beautiful. The characters pop and animate in ways that no other current fighter can rival. That that includes DBZ which if you are not into anime just looks like a series of explosions.
SFV was designed to penetrate the mainstream, just not on the way games like MKX do. These are exciting times ahead.
Plus a lot of it is people following the stories of the players. Who have history from many other Capcom and non Capcom games. A lot of the most historic figures of fighting games play SFV in CPT
DBFZ is waaaaay more fun to watch than SFV. And I donāt even like DBFZ, but itās just marvelous to see.
I donāt know what happened, but I got bored of SFV. Just canāt force myself to boot it up anymore, even for the weekly challenges. I will probably check out Falke though, but she hardly will keep me playing the game, as Blanka did not.
I am fine playing Rev2 once in while for now. Looking forward to the 25th anniversary collection.
DBFZ is not that fun to watch for me except maybe the Go1 vs Sonic Fox matches.
But overall itās just a generic ground combo > into generic air combo > into super. Thatās like most of the cast.
People are still on the hype train but seeing all these similar combos could make the game very stale in the long run.
You have just described Marvel as well.
