what if when he Activate V-Trigger he’ll put his chains back on and it powers up his punch normals and specials?
I dont like jail Cody so if the chains aren’t referenced at all I’m good. They’re already playing the story/theme of him as breaking from the shackles of the chains. He should feel empowered by being one that asserts the law. This is a different Cody and the original Cody was never in jail. It’ll be good to just get Cody in a fighter (that isn’t Final Fight Revenge).

i hope he breaks the cycle of this seasons crappy DLC track, btw whos the best out of all the current DLC characters sakura?
I was expecting a Cody reveal at E3 (because of more coverage and more attention being directed at that event than at Combo Breaker), but nope. I was wrong.
Competitive wise Sakura is clearly the best after her updates with Blanka coming second. Falke will need a patch or 2 to not die to characters that close the gap super fast, but she works for the 2 or 3 characters I dont like fighting with Ibuki and is fun.

It’s funny cuz some people are still thinking he will be an E3 reveal, but the logo pretty much usually dictates a week or 2 at most for reveal.
I dunno, Capcom could do that thing where they have him playable at E3, release him a couple of days later.
I don’t see why Cody deserve to be better compared to the rest of the DLC’s, ain’t going to happen. Sakura, Blanka and Falke players aren’t sons of a minor God, do y’all a favor and don’t setup yourselves to a big disappointment. Cody will be forever fun and cool to use, but making him really competitive isn’t Capcom goal. Probably the current DLC’s and some mid-low tier characters will receive good buffs in S4, 'til then they are all going to suck hard.

I think he’s used dudes before. But I think Jin likes mobile characters and female characters have a tendency to be mobile with interesting options.

Strange guy. I would use a waifu if Capcom would give her a command grab, a karate gi, a long scarf, huge damage, an hard to react dash and a Tosa region dialect.

Often Capcom give females characters some bs just to convince people to use it. Now people are thirsty for them, but before using a male was ‘manly’, stupid '90s mentality. Some people really have still an idiosyncrasy for using a female character in fgs.
