Fuck Menat. And fuck Infiltration for making people pick her up. If my Chun-Li future consists of fighting Guiles and Menats ad infinitum Iām going to main Rashid.
I wouldnāt main Chun Li anymore other than character loyalty. Sheās back to SFIV where you just pick her to counter pick certain characters.

Lately Iāve just been wanting to play more and more. I see a lot of people parroting Mike Rossās statement on SFV, but it really doesnāt matter to me. Ran into really good players like Lud, Ryan Hart, and Nephew recently. Just makes me want to become a much better player. Those nights when youāre on tilt are awful, but they come and go. Sometimes you just gotta know when to get off and do something else.
Anyway, hope the SRK fam has been good.

I got back to diamond again and ran into a master Ken that just dismantled me. I prob could have won but damn dealing with high level Ken unga is some different shit. I also ran into a Ultra Diamond Abi and I was just like āthank you Capcomā I actually took a game off the guy so I got some points to help pad out my losses lmao
I feel so good with Kolin this season. She basically has everything except an Invul-Reversal. Iām really hoping we donāt get a 3.5 cuz I canāt have my girl nerfed just yet. Just give me the year to fraud it up so I can hide in battle lounge once I get to Super Diamond.

And even then, who does she counter? Ryu and Gief? Thatās hardly worth it.
The thing is Iām not really a loyalist but sheās the closest to a Rose-type of character in this game that also doesnāt rely on some V-Trigger BS to make a comeback every round. Maybe Iāll go back to Kolin at some point because I really like her style. Trigger I is still available after all.

If a 3.5 does happen you may still be able to keep your ice queen in good shape. 2.5 dialed back most of the strongest chars but they were overall small changes and still ended up being really good.
The only ones who may be legit worried about a 3.5 should be Abi players just due to public perception and Capcom being hammer happy. And even then if they hit him as hard as they hit, say, Urien in 2.5 heāll still vroom the shit out of people.
And Doctrine_Dark I agree. This game has pain in the ass stuff but so does every game. I enjoy it and almost always come away from sessions wanting to play more. I also like the group of people SRK has banded together around this game which probably helps with that too.

I donāt think weāll see 3.5. ,Capcom is good with it. Iām not. The team in charge of game balance & development needs to take notes from the design team, the latter seems the only one working for real. The netcode is even more garbage than before, I donāt feel the urge of grinding. Iāll wait until S4 rebalance, if my expectations are going to be disappointed again Iām done. Sometimes playing SFV looks like fighting the game first (netcode, input fucking lag) before your opponent. I need a break.

If you need to be disappointed almost double digit times before you end up done with a game, at that point the fault isnāt with the company.
