Honestly I was thinking last night about CC and I think it’s just that it has no opposing counter, there’s no yin to the yang if you know what I mean.

That’s what made SF4 a deeper game, Focus was strong , but it lost to armour break or two in one.

Not sure what that counter would be though, I was thinking what if your own CC countered a CC by throwing them back like a throw tech. Dunno.

CC normals could be minus on block or just have a lot of pushback on block. i think that would balance them out.

Most of them just went back to Fightcade and kept playing there, to be fair. Partially because of familiarity, and partially because most of the ports on sf30 were kinda ass.

Falke with a 2 bar trigger that she has to confirm that builds her meter would probably be better than her current VT2 now that I think about it. Even with being a mid range poker/zoner.

Falke usually doesn’t even stand in the spot where Juri’s Trigger 2 would drain meter. It’d be even worse than it is on Juri now and that’s saying quite a lot.

Falke’s Trigger 2 has two problems but unlike Juri’s Trigger 2 she’s actually a stronger character after activating it, which is the basic premise behind the entire V-Trigger feature. Yeah, Juri has a cute kick thing when she activates but after that the only thing it does is let her nibble a bit on your opponents EX meter. Falke at least gets new combos, an overhead and a V-Skill that works like it always should. Unless you put too much emphasis on the fact that you have to confirm it to active it (which is the entire basis on why you say Juri’s Trigger 2 is better by the way because without the kick you get nothing from it) there’s no way Falke’s T2 is worse than Juri’s.

K Cammy was a personal favourite of mine to watch. Any Groove Kyo was also interesting to see play neutral. I just hated the fact that Blanka, Sakura and Bison (Dictator) were so dominant. A Groove definitely invalidated so many of the roster. Watching low tier characters like Haomaru and Ryo win was pretty cool too.
Oh, and N/A Yun was dope, N Chun too.

Got a few questions.

I’m trying to force a 21:9 aspect ratio for SF ,the game only supports 16:9.

I have found a way but tbh i have no clue if this is bannable or not. Anyone tried it so far ?

people literally stole dlc stuff in the store before capcom did something against it and these people still can play. a widescreen mod will not trigger anything.

I see, though tbh this is more related to Steam / Valve then Capcom at this point.

Capcom has no way to detect me injecting some commands into the game to change the aspect ratio, Valve however may consider that cheating.

Nope, you have to rely on phone apps.

Dissapointing. I don’t see why you should not be able to enable it like you can in Training mode.

Sf4 you could get focused in the middle of a 2 in 1 and armor breakers were generally unsafe on block or costed meter for little damage. There were some safe breakers but they weren’t a common thing amongst the cast. Tbh focus was OP in sf4. But hats not necessarily a bad thing because they allowed for even more strategies to be applied. Every streetfighter has some broken or OP strategy. That’s what actually makes the games good.

About CC. There are plenty of counters. You can outfootsie your opponent and CC THEM… one of my favorites personally and one of the reasons why I’m less liberal with certain CC buttons… you tend to get CC’d more when using a slow ass CC button. There’s also wiff punishing. The reactive kind if a motherfucker is l33t, or the standard general kind for the rest of us like throwing a predictive fireball at someone as they wiff their CC. You can also jump them. That’s 3 ways to deal with them. But yes, they might be OP. So what? Everything has an OP thing here or there… but at the end of the day, at least this is button based and active and means things are being done. When things are being done, that means there is usually counterplay.
