SFV Lounge: Season 4 is almost upon us, hide your mains

I hate when I have the lead and I still feel tempted to go in. I’m so dumb at times.

Got this from my free Fighting Chance today:

Doesn’t get any more obvious than this for S4, right?

It certainly gives an opportunity for the background animations to shine.

X-kira apparently has capom of japan upset.

And of all things it appears to be more for the RE outfit leaks.

The dude is all up in there servers, since they can’t figure out how… they should be happy he’s not being malicious or blatantly spoiling everything at the very least.

The way he teases stuff is the way ALL companies should tease information in this day in age.

Yeah definitely. Could rename Casual match to Training match and offer options for enabling that kind of stuff.

FA wasn’t OP in SF4 since everyone can use it,FADC instead… Then you had characters like Fei who has an amazing FA out of the box, but wasn’t intended to be that menacing. The differences between CCs in SFV seems more pronounced than FA’s in SF4, put the whole V-System to the mix and you have a game who can’t satisfied everyone. There’s always a way to deal with CCs, but you really can’t beat them 24/7, thanks to the priority system pressing buttons is like a Old Wild West showdown.

I do that every time too. Some want to play and some want to win, that’s our reward to act manly.

Hope that for you, dreaming it’s free.

He’s not in their servers, he’s just looking through every line of the code they add/alter after an update of the game.

At least he reached his goal, feeling Hollywood among casuals for a game he don’t even play. Would be hilarious if his ‘finds’ will end up being one of the reasons why Rose wouldn’t be in S4. Could be also the opposite since he does Capcom a favor with some publicity.

Everyone has CC in sf5, everyone could one hit absorb/parry in sf4 with focus.

Disagree. I was disappointed when I found out we were only getting second VTs in AE because he stated we were also getting second V-Skills, V-Reversals, and CAs.

Now everyone’s excited for Super SFV which we will definitely NOT get next season.

Yeah, but they don’t work equally, neither CC nor FA. In V some characters can use/abuse theirs CC because they’re safe or +oB, others don’t have that luxury. Even FAs worked differently because of range differences between the cast, I know it, you know it. This differences are present in any relevant SF to date, so there’s not much to talk about.

He has that “hacker” mentality. He likes the challenge and praise I don’t think he cares about sf5 one bit.

Who cares? Let these believers dream, even with some mechanic changes the core of the game will stay the same, a title change does nothing. Kira claimed what some players wants (himself first) to hear, who cares if he can’t prove it. He insinuate Rose and Poison are coming, but he wasn’t that clear about. He forgets to name the rest of the S4 lineup? How strange, huh?

Since he can get there he can also leak what’s coming next month, amrite? He has the chance to be the next Flowtron, then why he hesitate.

I think it’s partial a safety thing, how he teases now kind of protects himself.

It’s just random and alll over the place enough that capcom can’t really do much about him but fix however he’s getting in the 1st place.

Which blows my mind, like if he’s logging in with a username and password it should be easy to trace down, unless it’s some important service that uses the username/password

We have 2018 and the only person in here not whinning about every little thing is still Jin.

The world changes, SRK stays the same.

Ok, that’s news to me, always thought it was classic datamining.

I think datamining is sort of a grey area but what he does is straight up illegal. On the other hand Capcom seems kind of incompetent with their security.

Oh well, whatever. As far as those things are concerned I’m more of a ‘I believe it when I see it’ person.

We all do it man. Sometimes you just want to smash. :japanese_ogre:

I think the game design edges players in that direction too. No chip outside of CA and the very real possibility of big damage swings (all but guaranteed to be on-deck if your opponent is low on life) make it risky to try and sit on a lead. Even just poking away with lights can get you wandering into CH/CC, VTC, mix up, death.

Less mental strain to just say “fuck it” and go in to try to finish the job, even when it would be way smarter to try to lame it out.
