Removing it would imply it was there to begin with. She only ever had Meaty LK Tatsu in one game. Her CPS2 Chain was more integral to Sakura’s legacy design than meaty LK Tatsu ever was and no one complains that it’s not here.

Instead of pining for things she had in previous games she needs improvements to help her specifically in this one.

Removing would literally just imply she had it.

Depends what you’re defining as jump in punishable.

Honestly I’d just like his cr.hp to be good. Sagat spends a lot of time in crouch to lower his hurt box, but the majority of his decent normals - st.lk, st.hk, st.mp , st.mk ( I still think this should be faster) are standing.

Cr.hp should be 8 frames imo. Cr.mk probably 8 also, sweep is a joke but most sweeps in SF5 are terrible.

You can, Ive tried it a bit, it does seem somewhat effective, no where near birdie style, but I think it’s maybe a placebo of having such shit normals that a 12 frame sweep suddenly seems ok.

This has happens too many times…

The only way to avoid this is to delay your dp I find… Even then it too scretchy especially online.

Im saying tho. I got AAed by Ryu stand mp. Bison crouch mp. He doesnt need necali/ken jump hp, but he shouldn’t just eat whatever button you cook up on the spot

Dunno about improving Cody Tornados tbh,despite having a zoning tool I still consider him a mid-range/up-close character, probably his poor zoning was intended to be like that. A buff in that department would make the Guile matchup less bad, but what about those characters who needs to get on Cody? Balancing a game without making life miserable to some characters isn’t easy, I’ll give Capcom that.

It would make his Tornado Shot 47f at a 2f reduction. That’s Ryu’s hadoken. 3f and it’s at 46f which is still pretty mediocre in the grand scheme of things.

All fireballs outside of shots and boom are trash, they need a universal power increase. Cody uses his fireball at midrange, it literally can’t travel further. He’s still a midrange character.

Trouble occurs when you’re using at 49f fireball within every characters jump arc.

Would it be too good :slight_smile: ?

Those buttons can AA lots of jump ins if spaced poorly enough. At least in training mode it seems very specific the distance/timing required for buttons like that to AA his j.HK. Definitely not something you can just do for free vs his j.HK.

It’s more his slower jump arc that makes him easier to AA and part of why Falke beats him pretty easily. He almost literally can not jump in on Falke and empty jumping to bait AA’s usually still gets him hit. Sure if they buff it I won’t complain, but I don’t think it’s really as dire as you make it sound either. It’s more just his lumbering jump animation that makes him easy to make time to AA and why certain standing buttons can clip it.

Urien’s s.HP and most of Bison’s buttons are better meme buttons than Akuma c.HP and generally harder to whiff punish. It’s ok but not on the level of those buttons.
