Please donât tell me this is a hint that those two are coming.
Maybe if they played as one character like Zeku or Noob-Smoke I wouldnât mind as much.
Zeku VT2 has an hidden trick inside, the 2nd part becomes really effective when used as a combo ender. The problem is the soft knockdown after the 1st part, even an HKD could help to improve the general effectiveness of the VT, maybe. Probably wouldnât be strong like the better ones anyway.
Yeah Iâve personally never played a fighting game where itâs all bows and shit. Fighting games are all inherently dirty or the top tier have really dirty things that you have to take risks to deal with.
Fighting games just have way more variables than chess pieces that sit around waiting to move based purely on turn based strategies. You have to take risks to win in every fighting game out there basically. Even the most calculated players that play risk averse still have to take risks because fighting games just put you in situations where you have to make a read or get hit.
ST is very brutal and in your face and the best character beats you by knocking you down one time and doing stuff that you canât react to until you lose. 3S one of the best characters gets in a couple times and youâre guessing until you lose. SFIV you have characters that you literally have to guess against to deal with in the neutral before you even get to their pressure (Yun/Fuerte).
Even with SFV you still have your more solid matchups like your Cammy vs Karin or Chun stuff thatâs mostly on whoâs playing the better ground game. Even characters that have a lot of SFV mind game stuff like Akuma and Bison, the best 2 players of those characters are the most calculated ones that basically donât do much unless their opponent does something first. Thereâs no super random player of those characters thatâs winning Evo or CPT.

Yun/yangâs vskill should just basically be sfxtâs launcher for them to tag in each other, so they can be one character slot

For japanese pros instead of going on this endless grind with one character they should spend more time on preparing for character specific matchups like the americans and europeans do.
You seen how easily knuckledu pulverizes justin wongs menat every time they meet. Other than bonchan (or luffy very rarely picking birdie) who has a character crisis the rest stubbornly stick with their pride. A character shouldnt be part of your identity, sf5 should be seen for what itâs, an imbalanced and broken (just like every fighting game ever) game that isnt designed to appreciate how well you stick by rules, character or game mechanics wise.
In capcom cup for Tokido $250,000 was on the line and instead of picking a char that could murder birdie after the reset he kept fighting ( i know tokido doesnt know how to play pro level with other char but then thats exactly the problem). In evo finals the same thing happened with bison, a pocket zangief would kill problem xâs bison and if he picks abigail then go back to akuma.

Gotta love the community for this game. Have a horrific lag filled game so I donât do the rematch. Player then messages me insulting me then expects a runback somehow and sends me litterally 25 plus game alert messages. Sad and pathetic.

As for the community, Iâve lost to Packz in a laggy game and was told to fuck off (or something similar) on a stream for not playing a rematch.
After playing Ranked for most of the day I decided to cool down with Casuals.
Ran into an Ibuki who was one of those classic online dickheads that gets heated when they lose a match and start teabagging and generally playing like an ass. (insert âisnât that all Ibuki playersâ joke here)
Irritated but mostly unbothered outside of being free to command dash, I pressed on. Ran into a Laura player who, against all odds, showed me that maybe all online players arenât dirtbags (just a lot of them):
