This changes nothing actually. If the Discourse platform does not even have the option to allow us to ignore users, then it places further responsibility on the shoulders of those chosen to moderate.

From the link you posted:

I have nothing but tremendous respect for @Deviljin_01 and he knows it, but I’ve said nothing wrong, and I have not asked for something unfair or impossible. How he chooses to moderate this forum is his prerogative ultimately, but the way he is handling user frustration at an obvious and reoccurring issue is disappointing.

Yeah usually a character or a patch is the break to get things back into line, but without that only chaos.

Twitter must be the shitstorm of the century. With inbetween 2nd round Alex highlights.

Anyone seeing this work Lud is putting with Chun Li? Against Problem X of all people.

I guess but I think that if you truely want engaging enemies then you gotta stick to MP games. I used to hate bullet sponges and cheating AI but they can’t fight back without it and ive never played a game where there was no easy way to game the AI.

For single player games i get my enjoyment from other things. Resource management, doing cool shit, lore, etc. Enemies in skyrim forgetting about you while they have an arrow in their chest was when I gave up on good AI.

To add to this, there also comes a point where AI that is too good is just irritating as fuck. I remember playing OG SWBF2 and while most enemies were fodder every now and then you would shoot a bot and he would instantly 180 and one or two tap you.

Lud is good. I’ve been playing with him since 09. He’s capable of that. Last time I played him in ranked he barely clutched it out. Always fun to fight him.

Chun does kinda alright against bison as long as she’s going in.

“This user is annoying and the forum doesn’t give me any control to filter it out, mods what do”

“ItS oUt Of OuR CoNtRoL”

Mods having no solutions and users having no workarounds is just even more of a testament to how shit this platform is, lmao. I think Daemos has a pretty solid point and it’s getting brushed aside like nothing.

Time to watch. Pure entertainment in the chat when she’s on.

You aren’t wrong

Reading further down the thread…

The feature has been added.

Problem is people seemed to be alright dealing with other stuff before, but now suddenly Cipher of all people is that bad for people when people were dealing with Yorkey and Po for as long as they were.

Vanilla was shit too. We’re used to shit platforms. I’ll work with Pertho since for whatever reason Cipher is the camel that breaks the back even though people dealt with worse usually without bans or bans and they come back any way.

We’ll let you know. It’s just we’ve been told we can’t even add reaction icons so I don’t know how much further an ignore function is going to go.

That’s not true. You are arguing as though all AI is the same. Its not.

My point is that Sekiro’s is too simple, and exploitable.

There is some pleasure in figuring out the loops the first time, but not so much after that.

There’s already a solution.

Keep fucking scrolling.

Ain’t nobody forcing you to read every post. Especially the ones that get you triggered.

I mean they weren’t, how many posts have you seen saying Discourse is shit, and I remember personally talking to Daemos more than once about just ignoring Cipher.

Literally wrote a rule - don’t reply to Cipher.

I thought that was working for people.

Ryu vs Ed on Stream. Rare match up people

SF5 was in beta for 1.5 years but we still played it. Doesn’t change the fact that it exists now and is available for those who seek it.

Will SRK do something about this? @d3v
