I wore MLP avatars for a couple years straight and had people tagging me in GD telling me to kill myself over it among the standard ridicule that came attached

That’s the thing. What I said wasn’t even to shit talk you. It was out of respect.
It was also out of the truth that people don’t really post historically in NRS threads and Neutral Kombat 11 will be telling to see if people will actively post in NRS again. That’s on you to figure out. I’m not going to tell people to not talk about NRS in a site that doesn’t have enough traffic to separate it to begin with.
The fact that this place was going to die and then somehow came back is a miracle in itself, but unfortunately that means we can’t lay down hard laws for posts that will only separate the community further. It’s just a hard fact that people who post in the most active thread here also play other fighting games, other genres of games, watch movies and all of that such.
This is the equivalent of the old General Discussion threads for Marvel 3 where the idea was that you could talk about Marvel 3 if you want, but you could also shit post about anything else. That’s just what a Lounge for a specific game generally is. The only way to derail this kind of thread is to go full agenda/shill mode 24/7 which nobody has really done

Not trying to be mean but can we stop using rules (that are based on the presence of an ignore function) as a substitute for thinking? If not technically breaking rules makes you safe to drag an entire thread down for people then I feel like the rules and mods are worthless (again no shade) things are ultimately still going to shit.
