I mean on the very first round of season changes they nerfed two bottom 5 characters. They didn’t really adhere to their ideal much if at all.
Their wordage was “don’t greatly nerf” so I guess they could use semantics there.
But they clapped Nash, Ryu, and Chun…
Season 1 they definitely legit went against their word hard (enough that I had to hard drop Chun), but S2s and forward been a lot more to what they were saying. Just haven’t buffed certain characters enough. Nerfing the good shit isn’t really worth it at this point so better off adding more to what’s not good enough.

Ok how is it dumb? You say that as if Jacqui being in prevented her inclusion. As if the roster isn’t already full of fan favorites and characters who were not just in the last game.

I never want a roster choice to be based purely on fan service. It doesn’t matter which series.
I want the designers to do what they think is best. If it doesn’t work, so be it.
