DJ once ALMOST made top 8 at evo in a game that had parries and forced random move rotation gameplay so people thought they had skills cause they could just get in the same exact situations and… instead of pressing the same button… they pressed… a different button! Amazing skills to be sure! But DJ’s true claim to fame is being able to confirm basically ANYTHING… even jabs… about 40% of the time, screen notwithstanding.
Highland is ACTUALLY an 09’er… so calling him one isn’t really a diss. He’s not actually that old, the whippersnapper isn’t even in his 40’s yet. I’ve been told he’s got a good sagat that set Europe on fire once upon a time. He’d make it to tournies more often and get his name out there but his favorite pasttime is watching the simpsons, complaining about his bum knee, and making tributes to groundkeeper Willies absolutely perfect kiltmanship skills.
Dime is just some bum that is terrible and bad that will beat your ass if he has assist DP’s that beat everything and a character that can mix you up with throws, crossups, high lows and has a move that covers 3/4 of the screen that is plus on block and confirms into full combo on hit and into mixup on block.
He once went 2-72 against Valle in ST, it’s said he made top 32 at evo for some pantyshot game, and he even had the privilege of playing on Daigos Japanese controllers the day before Daigo beat Valles ass in A3 back in 98.
Nowadays he only really cares about games going back to the old ways and buttons having massive range and throws going back to 300 damage and unbreakable.
