None that i know of. Even Tekken got quiet but i havent played in a while.
Most games are played atleast a bit. It’s just that the numbers of folks are low and gatherings are sparse.
When online is good it’s nice, but the ranking thing can sometimes get in the way… sometimes.
I just want a new school game with oldschool sensibilities. Strong throws, string but balanced midrange (pokey, but not confirmy)

I guess in a way my favorite capcom games would be ST without Vega, sf4 without CT, OS oki and divekicks. And A2.
A2 not having online on 30th Anniversary was such a mistake

Literally the mistake of the millennium. It’s like sf4 with input lag online even though ggpo was out years before its development.
If A2 were online with rollback I doubt I’d be doing anything but playing it.
Been watching character breakdowns for MK11.

That’s actually from a female collector, I knew and probably a friend also of Daemos.
Took part on a small online challenge with friends yesterday on a channel of another friend.
Won the set 3-1 for my team against a super plat Vega.
But reviewing the VOD today I can’t help to be pissed at how bad I played with Falke yesterday. I only won because I walked away with murder.
Bad is not a bad enough word to describe how bad I played.

Still good that you can at least immediately look up on your replay to see what you can brush up on.
Vega is one of her more annoying matchups also. He can easily early jump and cross her up at ranges that are annoying for her to reactively AA on the ground and make you lose positioning if you go air to air too often. Once he gets within j.LK cross up range a bad poke will get jumped on while being in a tough spot to AA effectively if he crosses over since he can hit that j.LK cross pretty early in the air.
With his back walk being OD it’s hard to stay in frame trap range vs him. He can constantly stay at a range where he can just block stuff that’s minus on block and easy for him to jump over. Which allows him to stay in range to force you to air to air or press pokes at bad times to hit him in the neutral. If you can confirm a hit on him into like EX KK and push into the corner or just get a big life lead first, it’s not so bad. Just it can very easily get worse than that if the Claw is on point.

this is his third tax emergency now, and there will be more to come. He makes on rough estimates about 120-150k a year and making that isn’t enough his paypigs also gotta pay the taxes on his earnings.
There was a troubling lack of EX Katapult in that set (I think I saw it twice). Landing standing shot on Vega after a combo doesn’t lead into anything and the dash-up afterwards isn’t a tactic that’ll work in the long run with a slow-motion dash like Falke’s. EX Katapult is a better option as it gives you either damage, V-Gauge or pressure depending on the follow up and no matter which option you pick, Vega will be on the ground where he’s the most vulnerable. There’s really no need to save meter as much as you do.
Ex kapult is not something you will see often in my game plan.
It usually happens after a jump in due to a very telegraphed attack from my opponent or after shot vtc so I can v-skill, standing shot into safe jump.
Ex kapult tends to require playing more offensive than I like.
The dash up after shot can be hard to react. The opponent needs to preemptively press a button to stop it. Once I catch that, I stop dashing and whiff punish their button with st mk or st hp.
Bit of a mental game.
I think it’s more a matter of he gets bored with the game so he looks for the little cool things that he can do, even if it’s not practical. There’s not a ton of stuff to find in this game, after all
