The real top 3. 15F Dash Squad

Rashid’s Run doesn’t allow you to hit a button until frame 41.

Forward Dash Speeds

15F Chun/Ken/Rashid

16F Akuma/Blanka/Cammy/Ed/Ibuki/Juri/Kage/Karin/Ryu/Urien/Sakura

17F Boxer/Cody/Kolin/Laura/Necalli (not sure if v trigger changes)/Claw/OldYoung Zeku

18F Guile/Nash/R.Mika

19F Alex/G

20F Falke/FANG/Menat/Sagat

21F Dhalsim

22F Bison

23F Birdie

25F Gief/Abigail

Pretty obvious that they force certain archetypes into certain speeds.

I’m getting ultra dia this weekend then i’m grinding my ass off for master.

6247

I think those last K points will be annoying to get,but doable.

Totally random but never play Civilization. That game is so addicting it’s basically involuntary time travel.

Yea,wanted to make this a clean Juri run from start to finish.

Cammy did get me to super gold but I plateaued there with her.

She must have got too boring.

Tbh I still like her but when Juri got added it was all over.

Said it before, the character needs to click with you in the right way. It’s not all about tier placement.

Why did I spend 10 minutes watching videos of cars getting towed? Pretty good editing though

I used to watch Operation Repo all of the time. Cars getting towed is always exciting.

I remember one guy busted out Capoiera on the tower like Eddy Gordo one time.

You have to react within 10-11 frames in order to beat it. I’m not buying it

It’s definitely a twitch reaction, meaning that you’re just making a read on what that move actually is. I don’t think you can differentiate between this move, a dash, or cc and react accordingly. You’re probably gonna get crush countered for your tunnel vision efforts.

More I see shit about forward dashes in SFV, the more I’m convinced that Makoto ain’t gonna make it :pensive:

It seems like y’all want me to rank up either

I’m not that thrilled about going on Ranked, but at the same time I don’t to stay in Plat Area that much.

Ok, now I know what to do this weekend.

I believe from max range with the yellow flash it can be done at some percentage/possibility with a invincible move or parry that has a short input (especially no motion). If it didn’t flash yellow it’d be impossible, but the flash is a tell in the same way you can use the yellow sign from counter hits to help you confirm at a better timing. Walking backwards from near it’s max 1st hit range with a short input looks like you’ll have a percentage of getting it done.

Even if it is truly 100 percent impossible all the time no matter what move or input (or requires a partial read/tell) that’s why I think EX zonk is generally lower tier for EX neutral crash moves. It’s very easy to stay out of the range that it’s relevant for neutral crashing so it’s not even really that hard of a neutral crash. Most Codys I’ve been playing against and watching lately mainly use it to just extend block strings for multiple plus 3s. Which is generally better than its sub par neutral crash in comparison to Bison/Boxer/Urien who have OD stuff that travels farther and faster. If you do get neutral crashed long as you block you and you have a V Reversal on the first hit, not so bad. Even without V Reversal unless he’s in trigger it’s not the end of the world.

Even without impossible reactions it’s probably about the easiest ground neutral crash move to check and beat/trade. 15F definitely puts it in the range of being able to be checked especially since it’s possible to stay at a range where the first hit won’t make contact. If you’re inside of that range then it’s basically just a glorified ranged frame trap button. Essentially a metered Bipson Psycho Axe. Which unlike Psycho Axe it doesn’t always blow up trades with a CC.

Tbh the risk of losing points went away for me as soon as the game started to pair me with grand masters and above.

Win one game and it counts for 3 of your losses.Kinda fucked up but i’ll take it.

That’s the best way to get up. Where I live is near a lot of the NLBC people and a lot of the other well known east/south GM/CPT players. They’re always on heavy at night so find a good night to get on and beat them up. If you can 2 0 a couple of them in a row you looking nice and a 2 1 still good.

Adnan got to a point where he was almost free points since I know the Sim matchup a lot better than a lot of other Falkes and he plays very offensively so he always ends up running into shit. Usually can take the set vs him and if it’s a slow night I just run into him a lot for points.

When I got to master though I lucked out since I had to run into a variety of GMs and if you have a bad GM night they all just slaughter you and you might as well have just got randomed out by 2 or 3 Diamonds. Luckily with enough practice you start to get more consistent vs the Masters and GMs. I think when I 2 0d Nephew’s G I got to a point where I was like “yeah, I can do this”. Rompe hates that matchup but I told him I believe it’s definitely better than Boxer. I’ll fight any G before a Boxer.

I’m playing Juri as annoying as possible and it got me better results then playing too passive like I used to.

I actually think it’s the best way to play her.Abuse the mobility and light fuha as much as possible.

Necalli’s dash total frames don’t change with V-trigger, he just goes way farther

Much like Juri’s during VTI

So a 15f forward dash going farther is possible to see in the future?

Asking for a friend :alien:

Makoto’s dash will be 18 frames until you get VTI

Then it’ll be 12 frames and go half screen
