SFV Lounge: Revealed DEEZ NUTZ! They don't reveal $H1T. Momochi plz wakeup super

Yeah he definitely has to jump. He can’t play 100 percent honest vs a character that beats him on the ground clean (both buttons and fireball).

It’s just the really really gutsy air approach will eventually have to slow down as Birdie will eventually be able to take advantage of that. He’ll have to pepper in the air game a lot more lightly once Fuudo gets hip.

Look guys your missing the point here.

This is where scrubs like me can complain about my easy mode AA button not being 100% infallible.

I dont wanna hear about Akuma had to jump etc…

Fuck him.

I have played about 70 hours of Dota 2 (almost nothing in the context of that game, but still) and I’ve never, ever, played a game where nobody has loudly complained/flamed about at least one of their teammates when their team loses.

It’s kind of the nature of games where you can play well, but still lose if someone else screws up. It’s made worse by the lack of a concede function, I’ve had games where we lost 15 minutes in but the game lasted almost an hour because the other team just didn’t go for the win.

Seeing Punks cr.mk cancels whiff on hit were rough.

I havent routed for someone to win like that since Problem X at evo tbh.

Wanted Punk to take it.

I feel what Fuudo lost to was more similar to what Punk lost to. They both had really janky dropped combos/AA situations. Tokido was much cleaner and rarely had anything drop.

Like the last round of the tournament, if Punk got one situation that I remember not working to work, that probably would have been it.

Yup, I think the SF4 mentality of not leaving the ground defensively it’s still there in most of us who played that game a lot, but SFV isn’t like that. Fuudo didn’t forced Tokido to stay grounded where Birdie has a clear advantage, that was his fault. Birdie can easily clip every regular jump in, but Akuma has too many ways to play around his AAs.

SFIV Mentality is BS and only harms your play.

Focusing on SGS let you open for all the rest of Akuma BS, it’s easier to spot them from a viewer side. I don’t blame Punk for getting two of 'em, you can predict every full meter Akuma options tbh.

If it were up to me I’d remove jumps and dashes entirely from all future FG’s.

One of those was really obvious.
Tokido saved the meter on purpose.

Sounds like you’re removing Marvel and anime

And 3rd Strike and CVS2 and KOF

Mate i wasn’t criticising Punk at all. I was watching on an ipad and i would have eaten them both too.

It’s just different, was similar to SF2 in that regard, don’t jump too much was one of the golden rules of both games.

I miss Juri’s jump back dive kick.

SF6 please Capcom.

I think everyone but Punk saw the first Demon coming. The second one was trickier as Tokido basically dashed in milliseconds after getting full bar.

Yeah I know how it feels like :frowning:

I get it, no problem, I would have eaten them too. Whoever said they were that easy to spot probably would’ve eaten everything else. We aren’t there playing GF vs the best Akuma ever, Punk did his best at avoiding all the rest.

Honestly I was thinking on SGS every time Tokido had full meter with VT popped out, I think Punk was too busy at avoiding all the rest, the set was to tense to focus on everything.

I don’t, playing Juri in SF4 was just trying to chase down that thot the whole match and blocking that retarded move.

Juri sfiv divekicks are thankfully left to rot. Fuck that move.
