VT2 just feels incredibly win-more. It’s great…if you’re doing great. If you get a good confirm or a good AA you get even better stuff. But it doesn’t help you out beyond that. Which would be fine…if it were a 2 Bar VT.
IMO his VT gauges should be flipped. His VT1 is more about robbery nonsense and shenanigans while his VT2 should be about just boosting his toolkit and making his gameplan better. To me, that means VT1 should be 3 Bars (and obviously with more uses of his boosted V-Skill) and VT2 should be 2 Bars.
Yeah I never finish with SRK midscreen, but him giving up 100+ damage on combos just to get a meaty isn’t a good thing when one of Kages good points that validate his low health are that he has high damage outputm

The throw is likely designed with Y.Zeku in mind. You only get that throw with Y.Zeku and Y.Zeku’s mix ups are all frame trap/command dash based. He doesn’t have any left/right flip shit like O.Zeku so the throw adds to his frame trap/corner switch danger.

Sad times when Kage is a better choice than Menat.
Sako plays Kage and it’s not like he’s ever given a shit about tiers before, he’s usually the person defining tiers for a lot of characters.

Seriously, why is Sako getting shit on his character selection? He’s been playing Kage for a while now.
Yeah well apparently not so much as to dissuade him from playing Kage. If he thought Kage was too awful he wouldn’t be wasting as much time as he is grinding Kage online. Keep in mind Sako is a family man, you don’t got time to waste on characters you think aren’t worth it in some capacity.
I think Kage is bottom 15 easily, but he’s not fucking Deleted from the Roster Claw.

I dont think kage is great either, but I do think he can fight any of the cast. But he’s too honest, which is crazy to say…
