Max pretending to care about SFV is a top 5 SFV moment
He only cares about SFV when he needs to. I can’t hate on making money, but it is what it is.
People have been sued over those.
that goes for capcom too…
Papa Capcom knows best.
Can’t hate max too much, his stuff was golden during the MvC3 days.
The doom vs Wesker rap battle was epic:
thats why they show nothing so that mk11 can shine. they know whats good for you all… :3
I want to see reactions when SFV is pulled from EVO in favour of SF6.
I remember when IJ2 shined.
MK 11 launch day , twitch 10k viewers.
Capcom announces Chun costumes but even less ways to grind FM ,.twitch 35k viewers.
A year later some Jade player with 11 viewers
“you see the reason more people play SF kabalfan23 isssss…”
The bit I’ve watched of MK11 looks really good so far. hopefully the balance between playstyles is there in a good way.
Not counting aesthetics or NRS gameplay quirks, it’s definitely the MK I’ve most cared about playing in a while. I was not feeling Run Kombat at all so good to see there’s less running and the combos seem a bit shorter.
Variations have always been a cool thing so everyone can get a grappler or zoner archetype of their character to some degree. Lets people who dont normally branch into those archetypes to have something to mess with. Tier wise there will always be the best ones, but just for variety’s sake can’t complain.
Jade is hella interesting too. The mirror is crazy because you have to manage when and where you active your projectile invisibility special. Saw the activation get whiffed punished a couple of times and start laughing.
So far its looking like the first MK game that justifies all the special moves they give characters. But like I said, as long as you get a good mix between rushdown and stone cold keep away, it should have some solid legs as a fighting game.
NRS always does a good job of coming up with braindead ass lame characters so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Would variations work in SF ?
They worked in CvS2.
I like the CvS2 system better than the MKX one, but I really appreciate and commend NRS for taking some real chances with their game design.
You’re confusing quality with preference.
If someone said they prefer the old school graphics of Capcom vs Marvel against SF5 , I can completely believe that.
It’s like saying I prefer Empire Strikes back to The Last Jedi.
