Maybe, not sure yet. With how fast the threads are going now may have to up the limit a bit. We’ll see.
SF4 sagat > SF5 Sagat
Miles
They ain’t revealing shit so no new thread needed.
Cool beans. I thought the limit was for technical reasons though?
Viper’s uniboob and diaper lower torso are awesome.
Fully agree on that.
In this game is like Sagat is afraid to do anything.
Nah, just fabricated numbers just for the sake of making the wall of posts shorter, but at this point we’ll have a new thread every 2 weeks since 5,000 pretty much hits every 2 weeks at this point.
Basically a new thread will be made before 10,000 (hmmmm…maybe even a bit over 10,000 depending) is what I’m looking at and it’ll just happen when it happens.
Sagat blows , I was wrong lol
He’s in the game?
Gotta agree with you here.
SFV may not be the best FG I have ever played, but it is good enough to keep me entertained and going back for now, unlike KOF XIV, for one.
As long as I keep getting matches and having fun, I will keep on lameing people and support the game while we wait for SF6 to come out.
The Lounge is alive and kicking
When it comes to different iterations of SF, I always felt I had to sorta reboot my approach. The basics still applied, but I had to get accustomed to the game in its entirety before I could feel comfortable. Back when I was playing SF2 HD Remix a lot, I felt sooooo out of place making the jump to SF4. I did not like it at all, but a lot of that came down to me trying to play it like SF2. I’d always hear people say how “easy” it was and it made me feel even worse.
Now the funny part is when I mained Guile in Super SF4, I made it a point to play him like I did in SF2. To my surprise, it was actually effective. Also helped that he was quite good in that version, too. Eventually I moved to Cammy, Rose, and Sakura. Once I put my time into those three, I began to slowly but surely become more competent at SF4.
I can say Third Strike was easily my most unique experience in SF. It was just very different in comparison to all of the other SF games I put time into. And it was different in a good way.
Sagat does not suck, he just.doesn’t play SFV.
The Burger King will always Burger King.
Third Strike was a good SF, but we had KOF 98, so I had no reason to play it.
And it was a very rare machine to find here in Brazil.
Did they have any of the EX games in Brazil?
I meant other games from 2008.
Sprite games have an advantage now. A decade ago anything with sprites looked like shit, nowadays, 2D stuff is considered an artistic thing, and the old 2D games get to take advantage of that.
Lots of bootlegs running Ex Plus Alpha. Loved that game.
One of the most fun SF games I have ever played.
But we never got EX 2.
I remember at locals Smash players would see us playing 3rd Strike and be like “that game looks soooo OLLLLDD”
I was just pointing out how bad the characters models were in SF4. One of the many reasons I liked the PC version of SFIV over the 360 version was the ability to download mods. One of the first mods I downloaded, after young Gouken, was the improved C.VIper mod that fixed the uniboob and her hips. Having shit like Gouken and Vipers hip joints was in excusable in the (360/PS3/Wii) era. That is the type of poor modeling you’d see in the (PS1/Saturn/N64) era. There are many things I’ll agree to disagree with people on when it comes to SF4. Graphics are not one of them. That game never looked good. It was passable that is all.
