Also the Olympics has social and monetary incentives to include as many different competitions as possible so I don’t exactly take their distinctions at face value.

Archery is one of my favourite Olympic sports, along with fencing (all three types). It is just too good.
The skill involved in both sports is mesmerizing.

I dont really get this…on any level. First there IS a clear distinction… both are known for their respective competitions, both have different names…
And then on the other hand, both are physically gifted possessing native born attributes that just cant be practiced and attained, and both also practiced their individual skills to increse their god given talents.
I guess at the end of the day its an argument about the physicality of the brain versus the physicality of the arms legs and muscles.

At my old job all of the customers over 50 that were men that either loved golf or had a Corvette and loved golf.

At 41 with my reflexes waning but my old man strength being even higher than when I was young, I’ve been trying to get the homies to take it up. Decent sport. You can play some holes and get trashed, then flirt with the little club hotties that think your an old geezer, but have to be nice because they work there. Loads of fun tbh, even though I haven’t actually golfed. I’ve gone to the golf clubs for parties and get togethers. Never had a bad time. My kind of people usually.
Bea doesn’t like golf because men. Makes sense. I don’t like lifetime because women.
