I guess it’s all hyperbole. But VT2 with full resources is dangerous in footsies. Him having a FADC in this game is bonkers to. Watching Teru and Saki gives me hope for Kage. Not at home, but doesn’t Kage get two Cr.Mps into Tatsu ender, which can lead to free Oki or he can take the damage with whatever SRK ender. I’m liking VT1 more than 2 though. That charged VS is something wonderful to behold. And being able to FADC in this game engine is a big deal. I don’t think Shoto normals are particularly good in this game, so it isn’t like Kage is lacking. Aside from his fireball, he can still play the basic Shoto footsie game.
Pretty much. Kages oki isnt hard to apply once you just learn to use everything that combos into lk, mk or EX tatsu and dash up. Shit is free and good corner push. Plus stomp standing throw button setups. If you land jump in hk c.hp hk stomp c.mp EX tatsu HP DP from round start position they are instantly in corner with free oki
I prefer VT1 also because it gives him access to neutral crash faster than VT2. Neutral crash is the real actual thing hes lacking for me and VT1 gives him that. Especially quickly if you were using v skill well. A bit harder to activate than VT2 but once active you get stuff like DP teleport on block any way naturally instead of only on VTC
I personally would only use VT2 vs like Sim maybe. Otherwise VT1

Doesn’t he get fireball on block cancel into VT1? Or is it only normals on block?
He can only VTC from normals or V Skill with VT1 making it a bit harder to initially activate. Thats the trade off for a 2 bar trigger that lets you cancel everything into port on block.
VT2 lets you VTC all specials including stomp.
In that matchup vs G Sako doesnt even really use trigger that much the whole set which is why VT1 works for me any way. Get it faster and if you kill them before you really need it oh well

Fadc is only on vt1. cr mp ~ cr mp, or cr mp ~ st mp are your go to strings, and you can go into tatsu or m stomp. M stomp gives you a mix up. And keeps you close, but you trade damage potential.
With vt2 you can do dash in demon, no need for silly baits that akuma players do. This is because kage has a great 16 frame dash. Here’s a tech jibbo found out. Fw hp vtc dash up leaves you -2, so you get a misogi like mix up where their only choice is to jump out of the demon.

If he gets ex tatsu, don’t DP. Just mk stomp and take your reactive quickrise oki advantage for good damage and good oki.

What’s it with Ryu players and wifi?
The vast majority of them seems to be unaware of what an ethernet cable is.
The only good thing about Falke VT2 is how much distracting it is for someone who knows even a little about her.
Not getting a super cancel to win the game…and going on to lose the game has to be the most aggravating thing ever. I’ve seen a lot of people like KBrad not get it in crucial moments as well, so it’s something up with that. Dunno why this happens so much.

I know it makes me one of those guys always looking for new content but every couple months I find my self getting bored of the game. Currently hitting one of those patches where I find it getting stale.

You’re not there only one it’s why I haven’t been playing that much lately. Not sure why the no new content matters to me since I don’t ever play anybody new. I don’t dislike the game I just don’t feel motivated to boot it up.
