lol I don’t play the game online as frequently anymore, but the situation is more like I can’t get 2-0s consistently enough at that level right now, so I keep getting knocked back down to Ultra Diamond and then fighting back into Master. If I did dedicate more time I could probably get more consistent win streaks and move forward.

Depends. If they’re close enough to the corner HP DP will throw them into the corner for free plus free oki and extra damage. Might as well do it then. Which can be done from like almost the middle of the screen with dash up HP DP.
If you get hit by a combo that utilizes a heavy button or heavy stomp for corner push, you’re basically going into the corner from the middle of the screen.

Plus that patch activates the FREE TRIAL for April 23rd through May 5th. Shill the game out to any friends who don’t have the game. They can play base 16 roster, 4 DLC characters and most of the game modes for free.
Online I believe requires PSN + but can still play offline without PSN+. Steam just need steam client and online is available.
