We are talking about falling off going from sf4 to sf5.
Him beating a 9-1 matchup… in sf4. Is evidence in MY DIRECTION.
Idk what kind of logic you are using but it works for me!

So much for him not having time anymore due to a job huh
Problem with Dominion is that I beat everyone in my social circle* so nobody wants to play me anymore regardless of expansion.
I’ll check out Samurai sword though.
Jesus this fight is still going?
True. I was supposed to go to bed 2 hours ago. I got a client tomorrow.
Got stuck in the srk vortex of nonsense.
Night.
I actually 100% understand where the players who aren’t pros are coming from. SFV is a divisive game. It’s splintered the fanbase in a way that other fighters haven’t done and many people consider it to be the reason so many new titles have had more time in the spotlight. People assume that everyone that still plays SFV are pros that are only doing it for the Benj’s. Since the execution requirement for the game is lower than SF4, player retention at all levels has been consistent post, post launch fallout. This has created the idea that you only stuck with the game because it’s easier. Even you like it, it’s not SF4 so it’s objectively bad. If a pro says they dislike or outright hate SFV it feeds into the idea that SFV is for simps and that money is the only thing keeping anyone around. If a pro says they do like or love the game then they are either a shill or a fuck boy that couldn’t make it in the past game. Both outlooks are too narrow but if you’re a casual, 16er or lover of SFV, and it would probably favor you more if Kitana. Diego and Bong Chad think the game is the bestest ever. If everyone is lukewarm or doesn’t like it then people feel insecure about vetting a game that the Pros can’t stand. It can warp your entire view of the scene and the vocal minority will feel like the vocal majority.
I like SFV and I probably would have sucked ass in 4 like I suck ass in this game. I’m glad some players I watch like the game or at least enjoy what it brings since it enhances my appreciation for the work they put in. I care lees about players that don’t like the game not because I can’t take different opinions but because I don’t know if their heart is in it all the way.
[OOOOOOPIIIIINIOOOOOONS]
We have a couple people in our group who are way better than the others.
We have formed a cabal to take them down in games.
Samurai Sword is a “fixed” version of bang. It’s a little more complex, but the upside is that no one gets eliminated, which is rough for bigger groups.
Next time don’t get knocked down, then you avoid the vortex.
I don’t agree with what he said, but I don’t jump on his throat just because I think I get it what he’s going to explain, just isn’t totally correct. Outside Valmaster (Frost said it right on him) I think Mago and Gamerbee haven’t find the right characters for their preferred style.
I always get ganged up on too. I usually still win.
Somehow I have a 100% winrate as Hitler in Secret Hitler, even though everyone always just assumes I’m Hitler and plays accordingly.
Well aren’t you just the best?
It sounds like your opposition has teamwork skills comparable to a hungry house cat.
All of that happened even during SF4 days, even SF3 got a lot of hate at the time. Happens EVERY. FUCKIN.TIME.
Don’t care about it, you will see it again when SF6 will come out.
Infiltration streams SFV all the time. He just isn’t on the CPT after getting screwed over by his whackjob ex.
This is true, people always hate on the new thing.
I play wow since TBC and somehow the new expansion is always garbage while the previous is awesome.
I’ll just agree to disagree. For me falling off means you are putting in the work but getting worse results. Valmaster hasn’t been putting in the work. Commentary was even joking about him being an Overwatch player when he came on stream.
Frequently the answer is that both things are/were good. People like to set up dichotomies, even when they don’t really apply.
And after all, these are games, if I honestly don’t like it… I will just drop it.
People bitch about the same old same old but get pissed at significant change as well. Makes being a game developer difficult.
Unless you are Capcom and don’t give a fuck.
Well when things change it can be hard, especially if something you relied on no longer works. I get the reaction, but I dunno… I just deal with it?
Doesn’t mean I don’t complain, I like complaining.
The way Sandford describes SFVisms is funny af to me, he says characters don’t fit the engine and I have no idea if the guy means game engine literally or if its figuratively like a car
