Tryna spin your interpretation of truth as fact must be a strain on the ol’ noggin
Spin? Lol.
You said Val ain’t compete, he does/did. It’s about as open and closed as your asshole on rainbow day.
He did, he had a 3 year gap.
You saying he dropped off is the equivalent of saying a retired athlete has dropped off lmfao. He’s been back for 2 events, in the last month.
Time to backpeddle your stance my guy.
My opinion is simple.
Both games are trash and guys who try to downtalk problems with their rosa red googles are morons, who’re just incapable of adjusting to other games.
Or they had specific things in the previous game, that allowed them to win by simple abuse of these things.
Highland was a good example of this, acting like he was a DevilJin, but never aknowledging anything bad about SFIV, going so far to blame SFV for him not being able to win.
He could also, only give 09er comments about old games, what was hilarious to read, since all of them were plain wrong from the very core.
Dime defends 09ers, cause he himself is a discount 09er who thinks he’s a smartass.
I could enjoy SFIV, as I played with a group of friends. They all ran away after V came out, cause they were real 09ers.
And I simply lost interest quick, only thing that shows signs of my old interest was my Cammy Guide, which I pretty much handed over to SunTzu with Season 2.
Did you not say this? Did he not just compete?
Are you not in fact verifiably wrong?
He “quit”… but he’s still playing?
Hey how longs it been since daigo last played in a tourney? A week? So daigo “quit” for a week? LOL.
Doesn’t matter how long have hasn’t played for, he’s back at it and stopped originally because he wasn’t seeing the kind of success he wanted to. Which is the definition of falling off and that brings us back to the original point of players that were good at sf4, now playing that aren’t nearly as good at sf5.
Don’t like the rules don’t play the game.
What is this man talking about lmfao
The good ol frosty “I don’t know”
Predictable. Usually your last ditch attempt at saving face.
Come on Dime man. Valmaster didn’t play for 3 years. That’s considered quitting fam. You picked a poor example. We all make mistakes. Not that big a deal. To err is human.
I don’t think it was poor. I picked him literally because he was shit when the game came out. Decided he didn’t like the game, stopped playing for a time, then picked it back up and was still shit. That’s THE DEFINITION of falling off if there ever was one. Dude fell off so hard it took him 3 years to sew his ass back up after al, the beatings he took.
But you can also look to Valle. Also fell off heavy. And other than his new G resurrection Gustavo was in the same boat for years. And there are more. All I’d have to do p, literally is just look up tournament top 16’s for sf4 and pick out names that fell off but still play 5.
Went back and played X-Men COTA after not touching it for awhile. Still pretty fun but I forgot how different Tech Hits worked in that game. That shit would straight turn into a reversal at times.
Thought it was interesting how Wolverine had Healing Factor as one of his X-Specials. All of Wolvie’s moves returned in future games except his Healing. They probably realized he’d be way too good with it and decided to scrap it altogether.
I remember when people would say Wolvie healed faster whenever he was swapped out. Is that actually true?
Boss Magneto was dumb cheap. Unblockable Hyper Gravs and Forcefield lol. Moveset was not only varied but hella OP. I can see why most of that stuff never returned.
Has Infiltration quit because he wanted or because he was forced ?
Only thing I know is that he said he will return in 2020.
I need to see that Juri action.
Why did you pick Valle?
Valle literally said he wants to care more about the community, than tournaments.
He wants to host tournaments AND BUILD THE COMMUNITY UP INSTEAD OF COMPETING.
He also was never super hard in SFIV either, he had his old man moments.
He was also constantly telling all the crybabys coming from SFIV (this includes you) to shut up and adjust to the game, like he and other OGs always did.
Infil still plays afaik. Seems like he got bodied by lots of different shit, including but not limited to, sf5.
I’d say he’s more bodied by character choice than anything.
I think he and punk have the best natural styles for sf5.
Dime making me agree with Cipher.
Someone get this old man off the keyboard!
Dominion is a good game. Probably what got me into board games after Settlers and Ticket. I played it a bit to death though, been a few years since we last played it.
Seven Wonders is probably my favorite board game overall (if you like Dominion, you should try this). I’d probably love Agricola if I could bother getting into it, but I cba going too deep down that rabbit hole. Otherwise there’s been a lot of card games like Exploding Kittens, Fluxx and Red Seven recently.
I’m a board game nerd. :v
I mean he did make evo top 8 and he was winning lots of wnf. Last I checked Valle can’t even make it to master. Correct me if I’m wrong, it might have changed since I last checked. But he was “community organizer” during nearly his entire sf4 gamespan as well. I know, I was there and played with him at events he hosted.
-edit
Also, Valle says that shit about every game. And every character, no matter how weak that character is. He’s known for it.
You should be able to beat JW with roll, according to Valle doctrine.
Nice sentiment to have, but doesn’t always workout the best.
Played most of those. The beauty of Dominion is that the expansions do a lot to mixup the game, and are pretty cheap. I’m friends with a couple who are super board game nerds so they introduce me to lots of things. I will ask them about red seven.
If you want a party game, I also suggest BANG! or Samurai Sword.
He literally beat an 9-1 Match-Up in SFIV.
Valle has his old man moments and if he would want to compete serious again he could.
Picking him is one of the worst examples you can come up with.
Because this guy, doesn’t even want to compete anymore, he wants to do other things.
Your entire argumentation works in a cirlce, where you run around and shout “I’m right! I’m right! I like SFIV so I’m right!”
Jesus you’re worse than the wall of ignorance called Deimos.
U talking about Valle Hugo vs Bonchan Sagat ?
Yea that was intense.
