Welp, playing better than the last time I touched this game. Still stuck in that Super Plat thing. Should probably practice meaties. Let’s see if I can get this account to diamond before my PS+ runs out.
Just pick Rashid and do heavy Eagle Spike, jump back light kick, repeat. The AI can’t punish that stuff and when they jump they’re going to get air to air by the jumping light kick.

I’d be inclined to agree and I definitely do think this is a factor but he’s showing good use of the parry and he seems rather active in using it. Honestly as it stands VT1 is so unimpacting I think he’s making the right choice. VT2 at the least makes you approach Ryu differently.

Luckily Kage can FADC to safety. You won’t get that big a punish. 
Got back on ranked after long hiatus.
Winning the bad match ups 2 0 vs Mahreen and Bison player I met at Canada Cup. Then losing to Sagats and Codys lol. The new changes I forgot I can’t fish for lights into super from far range without counter hit now. Bleh I’ll be looking for counter hits or using s.mk a lot more now
