Toei might but the biggest fucking cucks in the entertainment industry. Like how the fuck do you choke out one of the most successful IP’s of all time because “shrug” we can. I’m actually trying to wrap my head around this shit but Japan proves time and time again that they are still stuck in the past ass niggas.

hes even worse on twitter, but he gets called out on it there too.

Guy seems incapable of making an unbiased decision. Telling me Sagats V1 was decent…last season.

Big buff for Ryu is the st.hp xx fireball in V2. I think that’s the real reason Daigo is rocking it, not the parry. You basically get a highest priority CC that cancels into fireball for pretty much a third of the match since the V2 timer is really long.

The price to pay for killing crack

Fuck’em TBH.

DBF is not even a good fighting game. Hell it isn’t even a hype one. Should’ve been playing BBTag and gotten that real unfair bullshit in.

That was because Capcom was adding “new” ways to get Fight Money.

Capcom doesn’t really add new Fight Money. They have an idea of how much Fight Money they want people to be able to obtain, and new methods are generally “funded” by taking Fight Money away from existing methods.

Survival was meant to be nearly unbeatable, so Capcom felt it was safe to put a lot of Fight Money there. Why? Because it let them say that the Fight Money was freely available, if you were skilled enough to get it. When people figured out how to cheese Survival, Capcom stated that they’d be changing Survival FM because the current system wasn’t fair to lesser skilled players. That was just PR spin though, because what Capcom really did was just remove Survival FM entirely.

Weekly Missions were a decent payout, and you could get a decent amount from one particular easy task per week. But with Arcade Edition, Capcom wanted to promote a “new” way of getting FM, the Golden Shadaloo Soldier. (I’ve argued before that the Silver soldiers are not “new” FM, they just let you pay to get early access to the FM you could already get.) So Arcade Edition saw Weekly Mission rewards halved, while Golden Soldiers appeared at rates and payouts that roughly averaged what was taken from the Weekly Missions. Unsurprisingly, while skilled players found Golden Soldiers trivial, they still presented a higher skill barrier than the Weekly Missions, and now included both limited attempts and people had to spend FM to attempt. While skilled players were arguably coming out a bit ahead, lesser skilled players could actually go negative.

The announcement that you could get extra FM by enabling ads was accompanied by the vague announcement that they were adjusting Extra Battle rewards, attempts, and difficulty. The most visible such adjustment was that Shadaloo Soldiers have been cut from three attempts to one attempt. Capcom admitted the changes were based on how many people were winning (which was presumably well above what Capcom desired), but it does also align timing wise with Capcom offering “new” FM through ads.

I don’t really play DBFZ all that much nowadays, but I’d hate to see its community extinguished in such an awful way. Toei doesn’t give a shit.

Toei gotta be fucked up in the head. So many would kill for their game to have what they do and they’re just like nah we’re good.

They want more money, that’s all it is. They are going to demand every TO pay them to run their game. No TO is gonna do it, because it’s fucking asinine.

It is a fucking shame if they do kill DBFZ that way but if it is Toei doing it they are probably happier just shitting out Budokai games every year or two and selling DLC. No one is streaming that shit.

Nintendo tried to do the same with Smash Bros at EVO 2013. However, they picked the wrong year to do it. Smash won its slot that year through a charity drive for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. What otherwise might have been a minor story that saw limited traction instead instantly blew up into a widespread story that looked bad for Nintendo.

Why is every Nash online a goofy asshole.

Are they mad they are still playing Nash and getting revenge on the world?

@GetTheTables You tryna play tonight

I’m just totally guessing here, but besides that I think Daigo likes the mind games that VT2 opens up. VT1 isn’t bad, but it only last 10 seconds. VT2 will probably last the rest of the round once activated as long as you don’t use it. And it doesn’t matter if you never use it, your opponent will never stop thinking about it. They completely change their play style and sometimes it seems like they care more about not getting hit by it then winning.

I think Daigo was using it properly for the most part. He did go for some crazy reads, but he mainly just had it to mess with peoples heads. The primary way he was trying to land it was during block strings. But not when he was pressured, he intentionally gave up his turn many times to get the opponent to go for block strings against him when they’re probably not thinking about it.

I still think VT2 sucks because it’s not dependable, but I’d choose it over VT1 because the timer on that one is just way too short.

Sounds to me like you need to take a break already :stuck_out_tongue:

People who mash 3 frame normals when the connection is laggy are the real MVPs.
