It has been working like this since Season 2, DPs and Flash Kick are still all good at anti-airing, you just can’t use them on wakeup meterless.

If it is a DP with Strike invulnerability (not projectile or throw) on frame 3. As long as you started your anti-air 3 frame before they would hit you, you will plow through it.
Most of these should be very reliable AA’s most times.

I agree, make the game all weird girls seemed like a ploy for attention and I know most people me included were put off by the concept and aesthetics, regardless of what I thought of the mechanics.

I undeerstand it as well but I can’t help to find it a bit strange, Skullgirls’s nudity is most of the time some kind of super deformed slapstick humor (like Valentine making a thermometer explode between her boobs) meanwhile we have the camera zooming in on an underage girl’s hips during her CA animation or indulging on Juri’s virtues during her intro
Can’t deny that part of the reason I never got into Skullgirls was that I hate its art style
Not the panty shots and whatnot, just the way the game animated and how the characters were drawn I thought looked really bad and unappealing

NRS does a good job with pure graphics. Then the animations are wack, the characters walk around like they’re wearing cement shoes and the game is shit.

The general animation flaws I think are always gonna be there. I don’t think they really animate the characters with a drawing artist mindset. More so just rig/frame type shit. It makes no sense that Firestorm moves like he does in 2018.

today my ranked session teached me to never a2a someone because most of the time they are going to land first and dp you out of existance and if you land first don’t try to press a button because they will ex dp nontheless, don’t press anything after an AA either or you’re going to eat a dp, don’t use blockstring that have any kind of gap or you’ll eat a dp and don’t go for a meaty unless you’re 110% sure it will land otherwise you’re going to eat a dp
