Punk doing his best Daigo impression in the first round
Oh and thank you again @Frost
You gave me one of the best tips I’ve heard all year. Getting nice vortex’s going now. Just have to practice them to get them into muscle memory.
- play more for than a week you scrub bitch
- you won’t suck if you actually try and apply yourself you scrub bitch
That said Kasumi is a solid starter character. Fast pokes(extra important cause you can get in peoples faces in the start of a round like marvel) good grabs, strong options in basically every conceivable area, although not really the best in any.
Other good characters for Beginners would be Jann Lee and Hitomi. Simple but effective gameplans. People like Bayman or Bass a bit more advanced cause you gotta know how the game engine works before you can really apply what makes them tick.
I just got blacklisted by Bushinstyles fat ass. He got mad as fuck that I beat him and was “iiiiiiits sooooo laggy” even though he was playing like he usually does while tea bagging me mid match.
Ahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa
Play me, coward.
New DoA6 twitter tease thing shows Helena can now do evasive step in phoenix stance now.
Helena is twinblades aesthetic style but she’s a character that likes to use a stance and its hard to mash with her so its probably far too hard for twin to ever play in a billion years!!!
Seems legit, they even took away her cleavage Juri-style. She’s all ready for this family and esports friendly game now.
Thinking of trying Eliot aka not-Leo-Kliesen or that karate chick (Hitomi?). Someone straightforward.
Not quite sure how I’d want to play DoA though. The game’s less about movement than Tekken and Sc6 from what I gather, and 90% of my gameplan in those games is sidestepping some shit and launching people for it. I guess you have to go more for the hard mixups in DoA?
Disagree, her swimsuit with the costume code. Whenever I use Falke, it’s the swimsuit costume all day.
Yellow swimsuit costume without the costume code is the best Falke costume, period.
But only degenerates use the costume code when picking that costume!
You had some typographical errors there. Fixed them up for you
The bloody bikini doesn’t even have polkadots on it, so what would be the point of showing it off?
Keep it classy and play without the costume code!
Eliot only looks straightforward but is rather technical for DoA standards. Hitomi is as easy as it gets. Basically DoA’s Cammy. Jann Lee is also decent for beginners.
Define “rather technical”. Are we talking huge movepool, stances, or heavy execution?
Aight I think this is my last hour I can play , anyone of you want to hang with the king!
Take this with a grain of salt as I last played him in DoA4 but I remember his juggles requiring a few of back-forward moves (4-6) in between combo strings and a generally tighter timing than a lot of other characters. He’s not going to put a wall in front of someone who played FGs before but he’s not as simple and straightforward as Hitomi who does good damage simply by pressing three buttons in a row.
He’s more like Kokoro. Semi-advanced. Right in the middle between stupid easy (Hitomi) and ridiculously hard (Alpha).
Oh is she?
Can Cammy get the Tackle from the comic too?
It was great to see that the easiest way to stop a truck is to just shoulder tackle it.
One of you fine fellows must be playing, mocha, twin, nareas , shinbo, feroce, frost ?!
Don’t make me play people from France!
Thanks. Doesn’t sound prohibitive considering I can play Mishimas semi-competently.
I’m more interested in toolsets than execution tbh. I tend to like characters with a diverse set of tools, good pokes and solid mixup options (often at the expense of their damage output).
As much as I’d like to play, I’m busy getting paid for filling in spreadsheets, explaining bureaucrats why they don’t have computer access, and telling off a worthless piece of shit consultant who can’t do his job for shit.
I’d rather Ryu it up than this.
