Yeah that Claire/ Phantom Miria anime was kind of cool actually.

The manga is where it’s at, the anime barely covered over a third of the whole story leaving a lot unresolved foreshadowing.

I don’t think they got past season 1, unfortunately. Yeah things only got started as the season ended. I haven’t watched anime in ages, for better or for worse

What I think happened was that the anime catched up to where the manga was at the time, they basically ran out of source material and then had to come up with an alternate ending. The last three episodes of the anime completely abandon the plot of the manga.

Possibly, depends on the games systems. If you an Alpha style system, you’d have multiple supers availible at the same time.
About Necalli, I doubt he will in another game any time soon, but if he is they could easily just give him an extra rage meter if that game doesn’t have its own version of it.
He was kind of the season 1 poster boy so I agree he’ll be gone a while.
He should be a blast to play and has nearly all the tools available. His combo routes and playstyle was just a bit meh after a while. I cant think of too many people who would cry over him not coming back.

Necalli is boring because the character has no personality and no nostalgia to hide his flaws.
- He has no personality outside of “rawr” and “I’ll eat you”.
- All of his punches looks like slight variations of the same attack.
- Every one of his tools is just a mediocre version of what another character has. But unlike Seth his moves lack the novelty of actually belonging to another character (ex. Sonic Boom).
- His permanent VT, his most unique trait, gave him nothing but frame advantage and damage buffs until AE.
- He looks like a poor mashup of Akuma and Blanka, who are now both in the game, and his stomp function just got replaced by Kage.
