I generally disagree other than Fang also being gimmicky, but I prefer Fang’s gimmick and FANG isn’t that bad anymore. I prefer Fang’s serious mode to Hakan’s serious but still really goofy looking any way mode. Oil all over your body will just never be serious unless you’re making money doing a porno.

Speaking of blanka balls, the one thing I forgot to check was if Cody’s mk. ruffian punishes the light ball. They extended the forward hitbox this season. That would make the matchup a hell of a lot easier because ex zonk was the only S3 punish and that obviously required charge and meter.

To me that’s the mark of a good character. Do you want/expect to see them back.
SF4 has a lot of “throw away” newbies. Really only Viper and Juri stand out.
SFV does pretty well in this regard actually. Lots of the new character I would want to see again (especially Kolin, Menat, FANG)
It’s a shame about necalli, his design and all is really good. But the character is designed from the ground up around the V-Trigger mechanic so he’d be an awkward fit for another game.

They can work around it, I don’t mind a V-trigger like installs mechanic to return in future SF than a secondary CA like ultra.

Also I’m not convinced that given what his trigger does. It would get used all the much.
Install supers usually don’t see play unless they auto win you the game (see sf3 yun)
