He doesn’t necessarily think he is strong though. He said on stream that he’s not happy with some of the placements, but his pseudo-objective method yielded these results. Tierlists are usually based on match ups rather than traits.
While I agree, I don’t think many people make tierlists based on matchups.
Some weird placements, every list is super variable right now because we’re still early so I don’t mind weird placements. Zeku is looking really strong going into S4 but having Blanka near bottom 5 and Abigail so low is crazy. Chun is super high I think she’s low mid more in line with Falke.
The Abi nerfs are being overblown like crazy imo.

Xian stole my idea. We should be able to look at tools and get a good idea of how good characters are. I like the categories he made but i disagree with the 1-5 point scale.
For example a comeback vtrigger is worth a lot more than corner side switch or “easy 50/50” (The binary nature of this games defense means you’re guessing a lot anyway.), and its worth a hell of a lot more than a lot of the 4 point categories.

You answered yourself, invincible reversals are overrated imo. My favorite character never had one either and I’m good with it too. CA could be considered an inv.reversal though.
That’s why I have Kage no lower than top 10. He has most of the SFV stuff that other characters don’t have and that’s before people actually figuring out his neutral. You just have to be drunk to put him under top 10.
