Best couple is still Cammy x Juni.
I like Kage because he can blow up a badly timed neutral jumps on wake up with a VT2 pop DP into Fuckyousogi. Also I think his fireballs is a really good poke but I need more practice with it
edit: one thing I don’t like but for some odd reason at max range lk tatsu, lp DP will whiff. and sometimes fuckousogi has weird interactions,
also Kage needs more health…like Oni :^)

The thing with that is you still need to input the instant air shit at manual timing to make sure the move is active on that 1st frame. That makes it more difficult than a button press that takes advantage of the 3f buffer or frame killing with dashes. It can be done, but i don’t know that you’ll see it at high level because of the timing plus the meter cost plus the risk of missing.

While Ed is maybe the weakest character (maybe) he is no where near close to as bad as people seem to portray. He have good neutral, he have good damage, good mobility, very good anti-airs, Good throw game. He have a DP. He have a fireball that can be used to feint, His cr.HPxx F.MP is a very good CC fishing move. He have two alright VTs
Ed’s sole issue is that in the neutral, if he tags you with a cr.MP, he doesn’t convert to much.
That is literally it. His mid range conversions are weak. Nothing more is weak or bad with Ed. Obviously he is supposed to hit and run, so my assumption is that the denied him that cause his get in and get out style would be amazing if he had a strong mid range conversions.
The Juri down play is hilarious as well. if you can look me in the eye and tell me that Juri is worse than Nash,Vega and others, then you are straight dumb. Also a character with a 3F, a true reversal a true DP anti-air and overall strong mobility is not " Well rounded "…yeah right

Season 1/2 memories. She got a stigma now. Same with Fang Alex and Ryu. Even if they are good there’s people that won’t recognize it unless a top player makes noise with them.
The same thing happened in sf4 with Gen. He got nerfed to shit when super sf4 happened so he was largely considered bottom tier. Then in AE he got a shit load of buffs. I was telling people Gen was top 10 at that point, but people kept calling him weak until Xian won Evo with him.
Juri’s damage output is too low for a character who is about resource management.
