She does alright against Gief, she beats Cody
Sakura doesnt have high hitting or double sided aas like Falke Birdie Rashid or Akuma so she still will have more problems with jumps than other characters. Sometimes she will just have to try to walk under or auto correct lp dp and hope for the best
Dark Jade is eh. Still better to have a Jade with 3 variations than Kitana with bootleg Jade variation

Still, she does okay against Gief. It is not like the MU is 7-3 for Gief.
None of the shotos have hard combos. Everything you say she’s good at akuma not only does it better, but a 100 times easier. No way I can say Sakura hitting st. Lk > dp is easier than akuma hitting st. Lp or st. Mk into whatever. He has a real dp and b. Hp. His meaty game is baby mode easy. His confirms are easy. Better triggers and his game plan isn’t stuck on “walk forward”.
Nah Sakura is anything but easy.
Gief matchup is shit. Not 7-3 shit, but close enough. I don’t see how she beats Cody. He doesn’t have to put up with any of her shit.
Ya it’s not sunshine and rainbows but her fireball buffs have really helped her play keepout vs. him, because very few can realistically go normal for normal with him now.
She beats Cody on the ground, her back walk let’s her escape EX Zonk pressure, EX.Hado VTC gave her a great way to put any slowwalk character on ice as soon as it’s up. She has the better fireball, her jhk routinely trades with sthp.
List goes on. She beats Cody pretty well, he has a hard time vs the fastwalk pixies.

I’m not saying there isn’t an agenda. There clearly is. That said people need to stop pretending female characters in MK9 looked good. They all had man faces, no thighs, and flat asses. Titties were the only thing they did have.

I said sakura’s easy not that the other shoto’s are hard, nor does akuma being stronger mean he’s easier to play. lol. Like any difficult execution you have with st lk ~ dp can be practiced in training mode. But that’s like the hardest execution she has. St lk has better range than akuma’s st mk, starts in 4 frames and has 3 active frames. That alone makes it easy to see opponent whiffing a button and punishing it. And if your relying on demon flips then you really are gonna struggle. Everybody’s gotta walk forward and block, quit complaining.
Not a fan of undead Jade.
But since a lot of the characters are dead and this game will involve time travel i think they will allow you to play as the “living” version of them as well, hopefully.
They showed off her living version on stream.
Akuma is the easiest, that’s not even a debate. Easy CC, hit confirm everything, spammy full screeners safe on block, retard trigger, flow chart meaty that can be learner by Silver’s.
Anything you can find hard with Akuma, the other shotos have that weakness more.
