Peoole online really are on some shit. You get a game on me, rq the second one then threaten to upload the match on yt. I feel online gave an adineline rush to the part to the. Egotistic. Bring back the arcade days, deadass. Not saying i would throw hands/ fight. But it would be. One less problem to have in the bigger picture.
That’s not even exclusive to SFV its just an Internet thing really. Lots of guys suddenly grow a pair when the platform makes it so they are safe from retaliation. You also see this subset of people who seem to have no other agenda than to piss of the other guy. Like these are the guys who probably would get jumped if they acted that way in real life but again online makes it safe for them. For better or worse the possibility of violence makes people more considerate.
As for SFV specifically, for me the one and done’s in ranked are a problem. It’s one thing to leave if a match is laggy because the other guy is in Cambodia. It’s another when you duck out after barely winning a 1-0 when you know the other guy downloaded you. Back when i played Ranked on PC you see so many Super Diamonds and above deny the runback win or lose lol. People cherry picking wins and opponents to climb smh.

Consider Julia in tekken.
I main Xiaoyu and Julia in tekken. And Helena and Kokoro in doa. They have the same fighting styles.

Also, Leo Kliesen in Tekken uses bajiquan for whoever was interested in someone with Akira’s fighting style.
Well when I played Tekken back in 2/3 and 5 I used to play Michelle/Julia and Xiaoyu. But even then I have never been too fond of the way they look, I guess. there’s just something about Tekken that never clicked with me, while DoA always looks interesting.
Might it be the core values?

Buy all her costumes, then your training is complete.
Her gameplan is basic, some of her skills boils down to mastering instant dives though.I think other characters carry players easily then Cammy does overall.
If you have canned meaties with her, you basically have everything you need in terms of tech.

Yeah Cammy is stupid but I don’t think she carries bad players as much as characters like Rashid or Bison

Cammy was great but her being so basic affects her ability to carry a player. The only scummy thing about the character is her EX divekick. The rest of her offensive tools are basic bitch shit.

Cammy + Highland would be “you carry each other” tier because highland isn’t some rando novice player that just started with SFV…he has fundamentals off the rip…it takes two to tang-o for example

I understand what you mean. People are more concerned about. Being internet sinsations which ruins the overall experince for someone like me who like to get better. Nothing more, nothing less. And I feel you on the one and done players. It forces me to play on edge most of the time, so I stress myself out and take a L.
Is that pretty much what let’s her carry players? Her shit is basic, but super strong, which means you can apply it with less effort/skill?
On the other end would be shit like aegis or Kolin VT2 which once you learn, do the work for you?
