SFV Lounge: Makoto is coming for sure. F2P definitely. RIP Pertho's doggy

I play Marvel Strike Force cuz I’m a filthy MCU shill (please don’t play this game the balance is shit) I love it and I’ve only spent a grand total of 3 bucks on it. If I poor ass dude like myself is willing to spend money on a dumb mobile game anyone with, or hell with no money will spend hundreds if not thousands. And I know of people that have spent that much just to stay on top.

Sakura will win Final Round.

Ed is way better than Cody you be quiet

Well he fits your style better any way.

Also a reminder that Ed has the best theme in the game

Woo!

New Cody >>>>> Old Cody

I dont get the love these games get. Run around and look for shit, get shot in the back, then respawn in a different game and do it again.

Meh.

The aim is to have that not happen, or outplay people who jump you. Most shooters will operate on a “do good until shot in back” ideal, you can’t do shit about unseen factors

I don’t either. It’s like if a SF match were just decided by the first hit… and that your Character was always random select… and that you didn’t do anything for 5 minutes.

Apex has a squad element to it, and that honestly helps a lot.

But in most shooters you respawn. So the random, “shot in the back” stuff balances out.

Also, random loot is alarmingly like items in SSB (to use a FG analogy), and it makes things very chaotic, and not in a great way in my opinion.

Yeah but playing around it is way easier in BRs because the pace is slower, in shit like CoD/BF checking an angle is pointless because of the density of maps and respawns.

I rarely get killed from getting shot in the back in Apex, you’re too beefy to die immediately.

Play CS and come back to me

No

Okay fine whatever jeez

Yeah, apex isn’t one shot kill. I was using “shot in the back” as an analog for when you die and there really wasn’t anything you could do about it.

To clarify, I don’t think BR games are bad, they are more just in the “not for me” category.

Obviously. But the maps are huge which means more space to get shot in the back from, and there are more players which means more people to shoot you in the back.

But that’s only one thing. The other is sitting there camping because you don’t want to get shot in the back…

Till the fog forces you to move. Also not fun.

There are of course ways to mitigate these things, but I personally don’t find the game fun, because of said factors. I’ve never liked loot systems or finding items. I’ve never liked just running around forever, and I’ve never liked the imbalance of coming across someone that has a way better gun than me.

So it’s a style of game that just annoys me, personally.

Oh yeah that’s for sure something I agree with, I don’t much like PUBG/Fortnite. Apex combines Quake/CoD with BR style, I like both of those. The other two are asinine to play.

Continuum Shift?

1, 2, or EX.

(I know you meant Counter Strike. CS matches are a fixed quantity, so it’s a very different beast despite the “one life” thing).
