Yeah he’s been dumb before but never have I ever seen a dude make an equivalence of serving to waking up before 10am to play a video game.

See I think the premise isn’t that bad, having everyone arrive on time and adjust sleep schedules after jet lag to be at optimal performance for the year finals is a real concern, players have to get their earlier to fix schedules over a longer span of time is more £££ on their behalf for lodging. But Chris worded that and acted like a bitch in quite possibly the worst way I’ve seen.

People are missing the extra bit I posted earlier. Capcom is also changing Extra Battle difficulty and rewards.

I could be wrong, but my guess is that Capcom’s goal with ads is to still keep overall Fight Money income at either the same level or even lower than before. That the ad Fight Money isn’t a new source of Fight Money, but rather just a repackaging of what we previously expected to get through Extra Battle, just as Extra Battle was a repackaging of what we previously got through Weekly Missions and Survival.

If so, then people opting out of ads may actually accumulate less Fight Money that they gained before ads were added. Heck, even if the numbers stay roughly the same for now, Capcom has said that it will now continue to adjust Extra Battle in the future.

If Capcom actually does that and allowing ads is just going to let you make the same amount of FM you did before then fuck Capcom and they deserve any kind of backlash they’re going to get from this.

  1. So you didn’t even chucked Plasma, you were whiffing jabs to bait a reaction and then DP’d it.
    Congratulation, that wasn’t the point at all.
    The point was to react to a fireball with a propriat counter.
    You baited the counter, what wasn’t the point of the argument to begin with.
    That has nothing to do with depth, you made your opponent do a mistake and capitalized on it.
    Thats a basic of every f*cking FG in history.

  2. Multiple ways to stop these unga bungas from ungaring you in the neutral.
    Outspace them.
    Bait and react appropriate.
    Let them burn the bar and just block it with a V-Reversal afterwards.
    What you described is like fighting Azrael, with the difference that he can do a halfscreen + ob Special at any given time and combo off of it, if he hits you.
    Outspace, bait, adapt to your opponent.
    Misses the point again with this example.

  3. You Neutraljump Unga Bunga and now are in the air above them.
    If the situation plays out like I imagined, you should get a Jump-in at least blocked and force your turn now.
    If you neutraljumped, he recoverd, you landed and now are in the 50/50, congratulations, you mixed yourself up.

Outside of Ex Shoulder, Ex Arrow is also unsafe on block, so is Juris V-Skill, Balrogs V-Skill is slow and also negative on block. Ex Raida should be negative too, if memory serves right.
Ex Dash is +, Ex Tackle has no Fireball invul.
And Demon Flip could be made safe in IV too.
Yadda yadda, you missed the point and confused fireball counter with a different Situation.
The point was not how to bait and beat counters.
The Point was “there is Plasma on the field and these moves are used to counter it!”

In the case talked, there happend something, that you completly ignored in favor of a rant.

Listen up sherlock, I know you act like hurt child, cause you can’t mindlesly throw Plasma around anymore.
I mean Deiminion (or whoever he was called, the other American Guile, besides Du), literally said he doesn’t like Guile anymore, cause he has to commit to Sonic Booms in SFV.
You were probably standing right next to him and gave him applause.

Besides I said multiple times why I find SFs fireball zoning to be the least entertaining part of the game.
Yet I still played the heck out of Poison in SFIV.
Both of my BB Mains are Hybrid Zoners and my main KoF Team was made out of 2 Zoner and a blue haird girl, that protected russian skys more effective than Zangief.
It’s SF concept that makes me say nope, it’s not dynamic and explosive enough.
The only entertaining thing, was the learn resistence of the people playing Zoner in SF.
Getting 2 full supers in one round, just because they couldn’t stop chucking Plasma at Rose, was truly entertaining.
Also I love Falke and Menat, even if I can’t play them to safe my life.
Oh wait, turns out I like Footsies and Button Zoning.
Who would have expected that, from a Ralf Player.

I like that post just cuz its long.

After playing a lot of marvel and anime games I don’t really have much problem with fast/safe on block stuff and like playing most any type of character that isn’t a grappler long as they have decent walk speed. Bad things happen to you in older games so got no problems with a new game where bad things happen to you. Dark Ages SF wasn’t very fireball centric so fireball strength doesn’t really bother me. People are still gonna drop on Guile and Sagat zoning in V so whatever.

Just no more Fuerte type characters that move exactly like Smash characters. And no 1200 health characters that outfootsie everyone else and chew up fireballs to do that more.
