hm? Nothing I wanted changed for Sagat would be overpowered. He’d still be a worse version of Akuma or Menat whatever way you spin it.

Two roses vt1 vega is insanely broken. V skills has good range but poor startup. It does ok against ryu or akuma. But it’s very bad against guile. Very few anti projectile moves work effectively against guile anyway which clearly is a design by capcom. So expect guile to maintain his top tier status in season 4.
Well, it looks like I will be a Gief main for this week per suggestion of my coach so I can try to break some bad habits that plague my Falke. Let Gief week commence then!

You think he beats Gief? If he does i dunno that I’d call it obvious.
I think he beats mika chun ryu birdie cody urien and zeku. Characters with normal movement and no obvious full reaction no guessing ways around fireballs. They have to get to him and they can’t do it easy.
Gief vt1 just eliminates fireballs completely once its loaded. Then you fight him at Sagat uncomfortable range with Gief just needing one hit confirm hp or buffered jab to get the party started. This is one match where the slow buttons definitely are a liability. Heavy Sagat advantage pre trigger, heavy Gief advantage post trigger. Feels even.
Unless boom gets nerfed or boom/flash kick charge time gets nerfed. Which could happen.
