Yup you either get a big combo on hit or a mix up on block. Basically I don’t think there should be any other way to start a party with V1 other than tiger shot.

It only combos on CH iirc. It’s basically useless.
It’s really not that hard, gotta teach yourself to press up slowly then quickly return back to down.
Turn your stick around so that it’s left and right or whatever and practice that way to get an easier feel for the timing.
If it does combo on regular hit, the setups for point blank stomp are jank anyways.
