Yeah across all of the random replays I’ve watched I’ve seen Akumas at all levels and a depressing number of them look similar. So I know it doesn’t necessarily get any better. But I try to only speak to what I know.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I’ll admit I’m kinda lazy and like to jump into the heat of SFV before really trying to sit down and learn shit. But when I do run into a situation that has me utterly stumped, I do stress test it out.
Yeah I know my M.O. is to bitch in every league I’m in. I feel like I do it less now because I understand certain aspects of the meta a little more than I used too. I still can’t see the matrix though.
Your Ken is strong and if you’re playing the Gat he’s probably decent too. However… If I fight you enough I think I could get my bearings. I lose to Pookie all the time so I’m used to the beat downs but fighting him has taught me allot about my failings. I’m sure I could learn to be on your level…
Or I can just mash st.HP in VT2 and pretend I know what I’m doing.

Played some Akuma who V-Triggered and then used Raging Demon through one of my low shots. While certainly a nice play and all I couldn’t help but think that if I had his tools I would have been able to cancel my fireball recovery with V-Trigger, jump, punish and probably win.

If they activate trigger and have full bar, charge and jump.
They will do demon 90% of the time. Then you release air shot, making you float for a while, safe from it and leave them looking stupid when you throw or combo them during the recovery of their demon.
@Bea_Iank I saw you were having trouble dealing with boomless Guile. Guile without booms is very honest and pretty easy for Falke to beat. Just have to get better with your normal placement. Particularly s.HP and f+HP. His ranged buttons dont convert into damage without CC or counter hit (and requires him to be charging any way for conversion) so there’s really nothing to fear as long as your ground game is good. Guile has no way to make his jumps hard to scout without the threat of booms (and has no way to change his trajectory in the air) so a boomless Guile should be super easy to AA also.

No. He’s not airborne during any part of the sobat. Only has lower body invincibility during the first active frame until some part of its recovery (bout 8 to 10 frames of lower body, but only active for 2).
Which Falke doesn’t care about because the main buttons she wants to throw at him are heavy buttons that will win priority trade vs the button and can convert into damage/set play or CC.
I just released ground shot when he activated so his Trigger into Demon was a proper punish.
Which is fine and all. I just think it’s dumb that it wouldn’t have been possible if the roles would have been reversed.
I remember I was dealing with that pesky VTC fireball thing just a minute ago.

So the usual suspects at the top. Interesting to see how many people want a new character, I guess SFV has been for the most part, a success when it comes to newcomers.
Also worth pointing out is Q’s fall since G popped up. He used to be really high in the polls, but I guess a lot of people dont feel he’s necessary anymore.
