Charged V Skill is like the new EX dive kick or counter for bypassing his fireballs also. Her fireball isn’t for long term screen flooding anymore, but she still can close in on him pretty quickly due to V Skill and EX ryo with strong buttons. Guile is the only character that can actually force her to work to get around fireballs.
This reminds me of how strange Yossan’s Juri is. He just wont use v skill. Like he’s against it and it makes the match tougher than it needs to be. He’s been playing that way since the game launched and I dunno how many more fireball characters are going to need to launch before he starts using it

Yeah she still has other options, but he had to make more hard reads on his shots and jump over for combos. You can play the match way more passively than that with V Skill. I’d say over the long term if that’s the way he continues to play vs Bonchan he’ll give Bonchan room to win more often as you can only get so many jumps over shots. Once a Sagat player knows where you’re trying to jump over low shots they can just switch their gameplan so you can’t jump them.

It’s been known for a while on Twitter that Combofiend went to work for Marvel after he left Capcom. He left crack to go to Marvel itself. Believe it was very soon after he left Capcom.
Which is why there have been some rumoring around about what he may end up doing in the future.

I kinda hate not being able to find certain people for casuals. I want runbacks with some of these fuckers.
I think the lack of Vskill was due to him not wanting to switch sides. He was able to bulldog Sagat close to the corner fairly easily. A lot of Vskills will naturally keep the action in the middle of the screen giving Sagat more chances to fine tune the wall. Maybe Yossan wanted to keep him boxed in the corner.
