After playing Sagat some mo’ in training mode and online, I have come to this conclusion. Now, I’m not a tournament player but outside of my psychotic non-sense lies a respectful AND KNOWLEDGEABLE player so…again I conclude that
Capcom needs to just fucking delete Ryu, Cody, Sakura and anyone else with a god damn fireball that isn’t Sagat, Guile and Menat’s Orb
I don’t make no maxishillian dollars but I can now pay the rent with it yeah. My big dream now is to be able to go grocery shopping and buy the food I want, vs only buying whatevers on sale. I am still growing so maybe next year I can always buy those good tasty crackers that are so rarely on sale.

It’s tough discussing Alex matches because I think most people can’t deal with random spam , which honestly is effective sometime, but I dunno, Alex is bad for a reason. There’s only so far rando stomp and slash gets you.
Reason I think Sagat would do well against Sakura is that her Tatsu would have to hit perfect to get through FBS, I’m not even sure sagat would probably recover in time anyway and DP her ass. Big jump arc, Sagat V reversal any tatsu and it’s back to zone.
If Ryu did well against her, I can only see Sagat doing even better.

Yeah I’m really bad controlling random spam. Probably why I have so much trouble with Alex and ken.
They always play at such a different pace than other characters. It throws me way off.
Jeez my anti-airs are so bad right now. Lack of matchup knowledge and SFV jump arcs in general are messing with me, people can jump from way closer spacings than I’m used to. I’m also really sloppy at executing DPs if I’m also whiffing buttons as fireball fakes or doing buffers to pre-empt dashes, I need to fix that.

Playing Falke is exposing how shitty my defence is.
This was a good character choice. I will have to work it in order to get good with her and at worst, this will make my Gief game better in the future.

Finally! On the hundredth 800LP upswing i got to body enough fools to get to ultra gold.
I was so happy when the last Claw turned out to be jumpy/slidy one, 'cause even my excution could not fuck up this match. I also 2-1d a not-so-TP-happy Dhalsim wich is rare. Well, to be honest he started to panic and TP a lot in the last round but still.
I’ll go celebrate.
