Well tier lists are only opinions. Snap shots of opinions frozen in time. They arenât meant to be long standing factual bits of info. So just take them as that.
There are definitely strong and weak characters but players are always going to be the final deciding factor in who wins or loses

Wonder how much money capcom wouldâve printed if theyâd allowed a platform to let these modders sell them officially? Add a profit sharing model and the ability to it and an official storefront and theyâd be set. Only issue would be lewd models and licensed stuff. But you can add a complaint system to remove nude mods.
Add an option to disable seeing custom models on your console and you can call it a day. That way, if you dont want to see ryu in a maid outfit, you dont have to.

Thatâs up to Capcom since Steam does it all the time even with F2P games. And if we know anything about Valve, theyâre all about the MONEY.
I donât know why they choice not to since the work-around is so simple. As far as Sony, I dunnoâŠthereâs a game on Steam with workshop items that cost real big bucks but PS4 players can use in-game money.
On the flip side most of SFV modding is lewd non canon bullshit as you can see. Canât fuck with those copyright laws.
Even with Falke who only has to press a button to AA I still need to focus on AAing instead of reacting to jump ins like I did in SFIV. No idea why honestly and I hate how I just dance around without any kind of neutral game because I need to be ready for a 300 damage jump in.
Then I see Bonchan AAing with a DP motion pretty much everything and yeah, thatâs why I donât play this game competitively.
Cable invalidating 98% of the MvC2 roster is just an opinion.

Just play Menat.
Donât get caught up in the minutia of trying to make the 100% most optimal character choices if you arenât playing at a pro/competitive level. You arenât going to be a better Menat by skipping her harder matches.
Just get better as a player and youâll be able to pick up a secondary pretty easily later.
Input lag. AAing with DPâs at every jump is too hard in SFV, I think a successful AA do is 70% prediction/30% reaction now because of it.
Not exactly, itâs hard to say Guile isnât playing SF, the problem are the rest of the cast out of top 5-10. Those characters have flaws, the top 5 have bare to none, thatâs it.
People want strong characters and Evil Ryu leaves good memories in those who used him in USF4. Ryu being terrible donât help also. Capcom already wasted slots already, so everything is possible.

That actually turned out well. Color me surprised.
The obvious exception is games that have been played at a competitive level for 20 years. Not much is going to change there. But even so, didnt we get VDO in top 8 this year playing rouge/ken and i forget his 3rd?

You keep bringing up older games. I already said a 20 year game is going to have a more cemented tier list. More cemented does not equate to definite or final. Those old tier lists are still capable of change. New tech is discovered. Opinions change. Didnât thawk just jump up a bunch in ST within the past few years because people figured out some OSes?
If we are to buy this 8-2 is an 8-2 argument youâre making, it would mean that kind of shift in tier position would be impossible.
