Was playing ranked and was good to find a Gief that actually knew how to use SPD in footsies. Mhike2stronk. He was pretty good.
Then I ended up fighting another master Gief who basically just pressed lariat and s.HP in neutral and lost like Gief should vs Falke lol.

Heās a very nice fellow and a great Gief player. Highest placed Gief in EVO this year.

Yeah definitely no doubt if he could 2 0 me with Gief heās definitely gotta be one of the best around. Too many Giefs that only use SPDs for mini vortex and shit, but he has the OG grab people out of buttons stuff down.
Then after that I fought RobTV and barely lost the set to his Karin. First and second round of the last match were both time outs. I choked up and should have just moved in to chip him out.

My 3 and 4lbs springs got here today.
I installed the 4lbs spring on the stick and It feels better, but still a bit light.
Letās see how it will do during my weekly tonight. I may need a heavier spring if this doesnāt perform as expected.
But at least it isnāt as wimpy and light as that silly 1.5lbs spring I was using before. The stick actually goes back to neutral now. Most of the time.
Iām going with King, Angel, Vanessa.
Overall I enjoyed learning Vanessa, Joe and King the post.
ā¦ I can dash 95% of the time now with the 4lbs springs. 
And doing 2xqcf doesnāt end up in jump most of the time.

I saw your Falke against Krone, no need to press anything vs Young Zeku, heās a frame traps machine. Like 95% of the cast he can do shit after a throw, keep that in mind. Falke VT1 seems pretty weak, if isnāt hitconfirmed, but VT2 looks even worse so I canāt help with that. Good stuff btw

Got a grandmaster Mika in my first match on my weekly, probably the best Mika in Brazil, lost, beat a Gold Gief/G and finally lost to a super diamond Laura.
The Laura player outplayed me hard. I couldnāt keep him out.

I almost beat him the last time i caught him in ranked. Always do good neutrally then he gets one jump and gotta hold stuff.
Donāt really even need v trigger to beat zeku since she outranges him pretty bad and can just win off life leads. If Falkes opponent has an honest trigger its easier for her to win off her neutral alone. She definitely has worst matches than him, but get frame trapped 2 times and then back thrown and itās done lol
I was fighting another Zeku a few days ago that had these gimmicky post hit setups into command dash. Wasnāt ready for any of them since no other Y Zekus do that shit and got bopped up

SFV is a bad game because people are always whiffing buttons without getting punished.

Older games had some really fast ass recovery buttons where you couldnāt whiff punish them. Like in ST you canāt really whiff punish any of Fei Longās buttons unless youāre right on his ass. Otherwise thereās a range where he can whiff c.MP and c.HP all day and thereās not much you can do about it other than look at it unless you throw a fireball or reaction super.
A2 Rose and 3S Chun are like the epitome of the āgood luck whiff punishing themā characters of the old days. They threw buttons around and you had to deal with it. Like shotos have to walk right up on Roseās shit to have a chance of whiff punishing her so better off just chucking fireballs and DPs most of the time.
