So Canada Cup is part of âeglxâ noiw which is some esports convention bullshit. I have been to one tournament earlier in the year where it got tied up with EGLX and it kind of hurt it in the end. Sure it makes everythin way bigger but I hope it doesnât ruin canada cup. At least its in the metro toronto convention centre so its well big enough to hold everything I guess.

Thanks to the CPT growth organizing a SFV tournament outside of it becomes less tempting without big prizes. We have still internal ones (I have one next Sunday), but people donât want to travel to tournaments where there isnât pros. Then SFV didnât exactly replicated the SF4 success if we talk about attendees, even half of the CPT events are in the US. Organizers had a lot of problems with the CPT schedule being forced to cancel right away some previous big events like Cannes Winter Clash in France and even Stunfest probably is going to follow. I donât even talk about events in Germany or other regions, I recall Ono attending RBK over a CPT event last year here in Italy, just saying. Without Premier Events or some with tempting big prizes will be hard to see high level tournaments outside US or Asia, thatâs it.

Today i was fighting vs a Zeku as Cody. I did my VT command grab and went for a setup. The dude woke up forward dash as young Zeku. Who the fuck wakeup with a forward dash ?! After a HP SPD esque oki?
Then i saw a game for him vs a Kolin. Dude did st.MK on wakeup after being hit by a counter. Wakeup st.MK as old Zeku. i can never comprehend the logic behind that. Wasnât even a messed up CA or DP. He legit woke up st.MK and ate a hail setup.
They do the weirdest shit, the kicker ? Also a Super Diamond player.

Me - This Kenâs Playstyle is a 1-9 matchup.
After blocking Kenâs stHK or Ryuâs fHP my default reaction has turned into keep blocking, Iâve been hit by too many regular DPs (not even EX, regular DPs) to press buttons in those situations without having the impression that Iâm taking a risk.

I just played one right now on my smurf, itâs all about just waiting. In fact the entire gold bracket is sort of like waiting for a bus til you get outta there.
