Sheeva probably won’t come back as well. She is just not popular enough. Unfortunately. They could give her a nice redesign like Skarlet and make her more unique compared to the other members of the shokan race.

Yeah I left out grapplers specifically because I don’t really think it’s the command grab ability that really makes them shine (as much) for me the problem with most grapplers is big normals and/or neutral bypass.
After that it’s grappler based oki, which is something I was thinking about but once a grappler with good oki has knocked you down, it’s no longer a matchup thing and becomes a “you have to hold this mixup” thing.

Also, grapplers in general I feel like if I’m the better player I win, if I’m not, I lose. There are exceptions of course but I feel that way about them more than any other archetype, so I feel like your overall skill can get you through them, outside a few horrid matchups where and there.

Basically you can do the same shit with both but the filler sucks. The beef of the triggers is not there.
I’d rather take the dope counter for 500 damage than 10 seconds of really good fireballs that aren’t gonna win me the match anyway then.

One time I tried learning Zeku. That immediately stopped once I realized I had to use a beginner level Zeku on the same matches that my platinum level Cody has to do. Separate ranks for each character would be a godsend. Doubt they will change it this late in the game though.
I finally stopped playing like a coward and it made the game way more fun.
However, i am not able to deal with online dashes. I was playing against 30k+ Vega player and was winning on the ground, aa every jump…
Then he started dashing and that was it. I just cannot deal with it, as I was either reacting late or being hit with cc normals when I did preemptive jabs.
There’s no point playing completely reactively vs a Claw player. They have more room to play reactively vs you than you do vs them. Especially with his longer normals and faster movement. Just play to fish to knock him down and keep him on his ass where his actual weakness is.

Actually, if you would think of the other than the usual modern day problems of Capcom games that they like to risk and experiment, They are confident with their brand yes gameplay is premier good but it is not enough, while the other problem they had is that they lack of timing.
DBFZ was the bomb of the current FGC mainstream no one can see it happening, it’s a collaboration that nobody expected to happen.
It’s like bamco really knows when to hit, but if you would think of it. If MVCi was delayed to release near the Avengers movie and having even with just (2) Xmen from Cyclops, Wolverine or Storm in the main cast then the rest is part of 1st season of DLC, things didn’t happen that way.
DBFZ success to casual isn’t visuals alone, Since XRD had been doing that. It was also along the time of DBS run and it’s also near the finale climatic moments.
Imagine a Jojo all star game with air combos even with XRD graphics or a baki the grappler game with air combos and 3v3 along with XRD graphics, both still doesn’t work, while MVC3 surface level gameplay mechanics is 3v3 and air combos feels very organic for the likes of DBZ franchise even with ArcSys.
If there would be a threat to the like of SFV, it would be a another huge popular franchise transformed into a fighting game, with the mechanics that feels more organic to it’s fight scenes that can be imagine with SF Characters and It will never be Injustice.
Since most of all star DC fights are not grounded. I remember posting in MVCi thread of about justice league fighting game based on the 90s cartoon with 3v3 and air combos, but those ideas are unlikely to happen because different ideas, priority and companies.
SFV days aren’t numbered in 2019, just because of other fighting game titles from other devs.
How often does NRS make games? I feel like this is their 3rd game during SFV’s life cycle.
Also I’m realizing that over 3 years into the game and my 3 favorite characters were all in the initial 16. DLC has been pretty much a miss for me, which seems strange since I feel like there is a good variety.

Plus, since it’s an NRS game there will be no Asia region for the Pro Tour. Easy money.
