SFV Lounge: Ken is high mid. Kage is barely mid. F2P still coming

GOOD!
Menat deserves the worst.

That’s actually really dumb.

That’s actually fucking amazing. Honda timeout victories are my most cherished wins in all of SF4

I meant the Geras’ mechanic.

This is not the time to be silent on SF5 capcom, there are way to many games coming out all the way through may for you to lose the interest of the small crowd you have.

I think it’s okay for Capcom to be silent and be well planning to get things better and polished especially if there is an SF6. In the past being rushed didn’t pay off like MVCi.

Lately their rival companies have learned to play their cards well by taking cues where a recent Capcom left and lack of in their most recent games, the problem with Capcom that time is that they gamble so much rather than polishing and improve the tried and tested formula. There an old saying save the best for last.

Like I always say whatever thread hype is an illusion . We are always amaze by something new and unfamiliar. It doesn’t reveal the truth the magic is over when everyone has tested the water.

Capcom will get what it want, MK11 today may the appeal for a while but that’s not how DBFZ reign. This is just like SC and Xrd.

If there is something that can threaten Capcom’s SFV, it’s KOF or Tekken. KOF with invested to better graphics and keeping their traditional game mechanics, without risking content that the problem yet it’s unlikely now.

Then theirs Tekken for having mainstream appeal. Yet MK11 with footsies and less MK gameplay? That could be tempting and fresh but definitely not something that would took down SFV. Once people and their fans get their hands on it well see how it last.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

I support Capcom biding its time to reveal their agenda when they are ready. But make no mistake, SF5 is far from over.

I kept reading a guy at capcup finals on stream spam “sc won’t, dbz faded bad after Evo, mk11 will follow the 2 year cycle, tekken won’t either, the only game that will replace sfv is sf6”.
I’m a huge mk fan but maybe he was right.

Idk for how much longer after the death of mvci and sfv’s rough start. You gotta wonder if everything goes like this again how many more times can they afford to do it.

Some info on crushing blows from K&M brothers.

Pretty hard to meaty jump ins, if you’re talking about proper meatys. If you jump and he AAs you, it’s because that move beats jump ins.

Well, that’s a weird way of looking at it. Both characters are playing relatively different games from the previous season.

I can’t call it bad or good for either character but ryu got mega buffed and menat got slightly nerfed and ryu is using a new v trigger… that’s kinda a totally different matchup…

You’re my new favorite person

Menat in my opinion was likely Ryus hardest match up. He got some buffs , she got some nerfs but the structure of the match up is very similar.

Daigo is doing a damn good job of trolling with V2, whilst influencing thousands of Ryu players.

It was a shit v trigger on release, it’s still a shit trigger now.

I don’t what it is but Falke manages to make me not tilt so much in this game, even other characters I main and really like can make me tilt if I’m getting beaten really bad, but not with Falke for some reason.

Looks like Raiden’s Superman move doesn’t have the stupid yell anymore. You know.

Those ones. The game’s already a failure in my book.

And I still think Ryu VT2 is the better VT just because you get access to s.HP cancels for the rest of the round, and sometimes you counter something into DP CA for 500 damage.

VT1 is just utter garbage urgh.

Characters I would like to see in MK11 = Jade, Sindel, Sheeva, Quan Chi, Frost, Nitara

Man if they bring back Sheeva…wooo…

Unfortunately, I get a feeling that he is going to skip this one. Even though he is like the best thing to come out of MK4.
