Just curious…does anyone here actually play other fighting games? Not like “buy day 1, play for a month, then back to SFV”, but puts actual time in other games too.

Or not. Instead of one big scene, the fgc will be scattered by too many games, and the games will have shorter support because the games will die faster in the eyes of esports.

This console cycle period has been great for fighting games in general. I might pick it up but I’ll probably do the classic buy the game learn basics and give it up.

Agree with majority disliking NRS animation and facial sculpt in 3D models in past.
What do I like with them is how they reimagining and do variantion on special moves. Something that is just started with SFV but they are doing since MK9.
Now with another time related plot. What can the next MK offer in it’s storyline.

Only other fighting games I play religiously are Tekken and MK. I’m wayyy better in those as well.
I don’t know what it is with SFV but I never feel like I’m getting good. Plat Sakura, diamond Balrog but like wtf this game sometimes doesn’t make sense to me.
Maybe it’s cause my first SF was IV, but man this game drives me crazy.
