I disagree.
Too many choices are just as bad as too little. The greatest fighting games that stood the test of time did not need this nonsense and that won’t be changing anytime. This shit is a gimmick for casuals, and I am waiting for the microtransaction announcement related to this system.
I think characters should be robust and have many tools, and different playstyles, but they should be definitive and streamlined without any of the fat and bullshit.
They had variations already in MKX and a lot of people liked the idea
And no microtransactions for them either
I don’t think there’s a thing like to many choices. Lots of variations of a single charachter make tier lists more smooth and propably easier to balance.
