SFV Lounge: Ken is high mid. Kage is barely mid. F2P still coming

Yes.

More simply though you need to approach an alleged prophet (leaker) logically. Ask yourself, “what to I expect a leaker to know?”.

If your answer is, “someone with insider knowledge should be able to relay that knowledge with 15% accuracy?” Then XKira is believable.

And if that’s your expectation, I reccomend lottery tickets, or Scientology.

I need to become a better closer. Seriously. I get way too anxious when the situation doesn’t call for it.

So yes that’s dumb… but I think I know what happened.

If you watch when the super came out, the hit box was actually behind Rashid. Rashid has already passed far enough through your body (due to invulnerability), that your super wiffed behind his back.

We’re getting Abigail again?

Whew lad, good thing we aren’t letting DBF be the only game without two versions of the same big savage.

Edit: Also LOL at the Onimusha character supposedly leaked. :joy:

I won the set anyway but Rashid was a fucking mistake.

Actually in a different round after this i VS the kick instead. Right through the tornado too lol

Rashid belongs in a Vs game.

Fixed it for you. Good thing this game is about commitment, because we know how much Rashid has to:

Just did the math and Rashid to cover that distance in 6f or less in order not to get got smh.

This is why math is evil.

Also, I thought the dream was that you could just do low risk-mid reward stuff to make your opponent play dumb? Rashid should be the most neutral fucker ever.

What’s funny is that if SF5 had regular pushblock, Rashid wouldn’t be that big of an issue. That and if he worked like a normal character. Dude just runs around like a nut being safe all over the place.

Commitment.

Yeah the Rashid dash is dumb.

It breaks some huge rules of the game… but they didn’t compensate for it in other parts of the character.

Like I said before, I would rather a character like Rashid be bad than good.

But if the game had regular pushback that would cause all sorts of other issues that might be even worse. This is what happens when you radically deviate from the norms across multiple variables. Most Grapplers can’t tick after 2 blocked attacks, 3 oki timings, srk requires ex to be invincible, jabs have to much pushback, most characters require a medium starter link etc etc

What do we mean by “regular” pushback? More or less? Personally i think sfv has way too much.

SFV pushback is low as fuck for a lot, which is why having high pushback feels crippling.

RIP Zeku

:sob:

SF5 pushback is way lower than older titles. There was a vid that did a good of showing how older games compare to this one.

All in all its a pretty interesting topic.

So eagle spike is invincible or her super counts as a projectile???

@vhozite ggs, i was the birdie averagetuesday. i don’t play much sf5 these days, so it was fun to run into you there.

I’m trying to learn the character, he’s pretty dumb. I like how you play, nice ground game. Was the connection okay for you? If it was we can run some sets, idk where you live.

Yeah connection was great gg man. I’m not very familiar with his VT2 so i have no idea what to do against it.

I’d say you did pretty good

Birdie is the top tier that isn’t.

The birdie lobby is probably the strongest in the SF5 world.
