3 very dumb characters, you just proved my point lol. Guile is less so now since his mid range control isn’t nearly what it used to be but his S3 self was undeniably stupid.
You can’t give some characters tools to deal with everything and give others some blatant very exploitable weaknesses to compensate for their strength and expect the two to be equals.
Like Nash vs Guile is a very easy comparison. Karin vs Chun-li, Akuma vs other everyone etc,etc
Most of her normals got nerfed in some way except for s.MP which got buffed. Said 3 bar trigger hurts a bit obviously because forced to burn v reversals or lose more health before getting it, but normal nerfs are too crippling.
Said he’d rather play a more consistent play style with Chun’s options than run s.HP perfectly times a bunch and hope v trigger works out.
Having to use s.MP instead of s.HP as your regular faraway move is a terrible exchange. Doing 60 damage each time won’t get you anywhere, especially without the chance of getting lucky crush counters. Now she plays G like in the sense that has to go all in on that golden chance but her V-trigger was never 3-bar good to begin with. Basically there’s now one character less that can win on a tournament by herself . I guess Bison can step in to fill that void.
What aspects or holes in the gameplan does Falke cover over Menat? Falke seems like a less extreme version of normal zoning that gains an EX DP in exchange, but characters with enough yolo tactics to get close will also beat her hard.
A newly announced addition to SNK’s esports program is aiming to help King of Fighters players make it out to more events around the world.
The “e-Sports Support Program for Top Players” will cover the costs of plane tickets to future tournaments for players who excel at events of the company’s choosing. In 2019, SNK will offer support to the three players who achieve the top three placings in King of Fighters XIV at Evo Japan 2019.
According to SNK, the support will last for one year and each player will have a cap on the amount of monetary support they will receive, although that amount was not disclosed at this time. Players will also have the option to bring one addition player with them to events, but the additional cost will count against their overall spending cap. In addition, it’s important to note that SNK clearly states only “flight ticket cost” will be covered, so other expenses like hotel, food and local travel will be covered by the players.
The SNK e-Sports Support Program for Top Players is open to all players from all regions, including those who are already sponsored by other teams, companies or organizations.
